Really good infrastructure and facilities .
Placements: None of the students from my batch are placed. We do not know about how placements are done or the average salary package offered in our course. The top recruiting company is TCS, and we also have modules related to our course taught by people from IBM.
Infrastructure: Yenepoya college has excellent infrastructure and facilities for students. We have three IT labs with all necessary facilities, including Wi-Fi. The college also has a very good library that students can use for their studies. Yenepoya provides excellent hostel facilities compared to other colleges. Good-quality food with a proper menu is provided. A wide variety of food is available not only in the hostel but also in the college canteens. Yenepoya has its hospital, and in case of any medical issues, we can consult the doctors there. Our college encourages students to participate in extracurricular activities such as sports, games, and cultural events. Programs are also conducted each semester to engage students in these activities.
Faculty: Teachers are helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable. The teaching quality is excellent. Our course curriculum prepares students to be industry-ready. We also have access to Coursera and TCS, allowing us to take additional courses to enhance our industry readiness. Lab assistants are available to help us with practical work in the lab.
Other: I chose this course because of my interest in the IT field, and I was particularly eager to study AI, which is a relevant and emerging domain today. I wish we had more practical studies instead of so much theory. While theory is essential, skills are mandatory at the end of the day. More theoretical knowledge combined with hands-on lab work would be great. We have events, fests, and a mediocre campus crowd. The campus is beautiful and eco-friendly. Scholarships are provided for eligible students, and students can participate in extracurricular activities, as we have events related to them each semester.

What to Expect at Yenepoya campus?
Placements: This college has a reputation for being unreliable, particularly when it comes to placement opportunities. The actual placement rate is around 10%, which significantly undermines the value of the program. Based on my personal experience, I believe this college does not provide a legitimate education, especially for BCA students. The internship and placement prospects for BCA courses here at Yenepoya are poor, leading to a disappointing future for students.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college is very good. This is the only positive thing in this college. Labs, classrooms, 24X7 air conditioners, etc., are available. Everywhere air conditioners are always available. The hostel is good. I only like it in this college and hostel infrastructure.
Faculty: Some faculty members are good. Some are bad. In this college, we have semester exams. There should be around 75% attendance for writing exams. Our college charges fine to conduct exams. In one semester, we have 2 internal exams. Exam-wise, our college is good. Almost all faculty members are good.
Other: In my opinion, I don’t like this college. While the students may perform well academically, I feel that the campus life is lacking. There are only one or two events organized throughout the year. The BCA course, in particular, has been quite disappointing and does not focus on skill development. On the other hand, I found the medical field to be excellent, but the programs for commerce and arts backgrounds, especially in BCA, are not satisfactory. Students did not study skill development, etc.

The reality of BCA in Yenepoya University.
Placements: The percentage of students getting placement is very low, and the students who get placements are very few. The highest placement in the college is around 4 LPA only, and the lowest will go as low as 1 lpa. The top recruiting companies vary by time, and in BCA, roles vary at different times.
Infrastructure: The facilities available on the campus are nice, but the area is very small and it doesn’t feel like a college; it feels like an institution. However, all the classes have AC, digital boards, good benches, etc. The hostel is also good, and the food and the facilities are good.
Faculty: The teachers are all freshers for the BCA course for the first-year students, and there are only a few senior faculty members on the campus. They are good at teaching, but the fresher teachers are not at all good at teaching. The semester exams are not that difficult.
Other: I chose this course because of the specializations provided here, but the actual thing is there is no proper curriculum for these specializations. If we want to study, we have to study on our own.

My experience at Yenepoya College.
Placements: Placements are incredible at Yenapoya College. Top companies hire students every year with amazing packages. Our college ensures excellent support for everyone to succeed. The career support is excellent, ensuring students secure amazing roles. Our college provides excellent internship opportunities.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of Yenepoya College is incredible with air-conditioned classrooms, high-tech labs, and a good library with Wi-Fi. The campus is beautifully designed featuring green space. Hostels here are like luxury apartments, and 24X7 hot water is available. The hostel food is better.
Faculty: There are top-notch professors who are always supportive and knowledgeable. The curriculum is advanced and perfectly aligned. Exams are well-structured and focused on real-world applications ensuring students are industry-ready. Faculty members are helping-minded.
Other: I chose this course because of my interest in tech and programming. The course has great projects and facilities. Campus life is lively with fun events and extracurricular activities.

Review of The Yenepoya Institute of Arts, Science, Commerce and Management, Yenepoya.
Placements: I think 1 or 2% of students were placed. They offer placements and internships. In their poster, they mentioned 100% placement. But there is no guarantee now. Top recruiting companies are IBM, TCS, and Microsoft, but out of 1000 students, only 2 or 4 students get placement.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure is actually very good. They are maintaining it very neatly. WiFi is available, but not all students get it. Labs are good. So many PCs are available. I think more than 300 systems are there. The library is also available but there are only books to study for our course. There are no additional books like novels or poetry. Hostel is also good. It's air-conditioned. We can use AC from 7.00 pm to 7.00 am. Food is quite fine, and sometimes it's bad.
Faculty: Some teachers are excellent but some are not well educated to teach . They are like taking seminar like a student takes. But some are very good. I don't think they cover a good quantity of syllabus. They are teaching basic things. They are not teaching what actually we need to do for a job. Semester exam is like out of 75. It's not as hard as we think. Pass mark, I think is 30%, not sure.
Other: I chose this course because of the specialization artificial Intelligence. They need to teach some more better things that we need for a job. So many clubs are available like NSS, literary club, eco Club, etc. Events and fests are low when we compare it to other colleges.
