The college has a good infrastructure.
Placements: The Placement scenario is very good here. Over 150 companies visited our college this year giving 100% placement to four major disciplines in B.Teach. M.Teach placement is on 67%. Top companies like Google, Microsoft, Apple, and Oracle visited. But most of the jobs require Coding skills so must have knowledge of coding because core jobs are very limited. Yes, an internship is provided here lots of companies who offer jobs also offer internships to 2nd and 3rd year students. I am an M.Teach student getting a stipend 12,400/month.
Infrastructure: The hostel fee is 80000 per year and there is only one option- shared rooms. In each room, there are 2-3 students. The wardens are very strict and don't allow you outside the hostel, not even on Sunday. The food isn't great either. Some of my friends transferred to other hostels because they didn't like the food at the college hostel. I wouldn't recommend staying in a hostel. Hostel Fee: INR 80000 per year.
Faculty: Power electronics has a lot of scope in upcoming years, here you can either go for a job or teach a professions after your graduation. Faculty members are very friendly here, you can find many Ph.D. holders here. Some of the faculty members use Smart Class to teach the subjects and some refer to classroom teaching. The mode of evaluation of slightly different at RV. We will have exams every month, a total of 3 cies (50+50+50 per CIE and another 50 Marks for assignments (30M) and 2 quizzes (20M)and one see. In cies no choices are given and per CIE will be there for 50 marks. It will be downgraded to 50 taking all cies into consideration. In SEE 5 modules will be there, from each modules you need to answers 1 full question. Here for cies you need to read all things since no choices and it's gonna make you work very harder. Passing the exam is not difficult if you read all the notes that will be given by your respective faculty members. Class size is 77 and course fees is INR 56000 per year.

A:
{Source: B.E. / B.Tech students & alumni}

Course Curriculum Structure for BE/BTech

* Relevance: The course curriculum is somewhat relevant, with some students finding it helpful, while others feel it could be updated to include newer technologies and topics (e.g., "the course curriculum was very good, and it makes the students industry-ready", but also "the course curriculum is somewhat relevant, but not properly scheduled").
* Industry Readiness: The course curriculum prepares students partially for the industry, with some students reporting being adequately equipped for the workforce after completing their studies (e.g., "teachers are helpful in making students industry-ready"), while others feel it falls short (e.g., "the course doesn't make students industry-ready").
* Teaching Quality: The teaching quality is generally considered good, with some professors being exceptional and willing to help students outside of class (e.g., "teachers are very helpful and knowledgeable"). However, others may find that some professors lack the necessary expertise or enthusiasm for teaching (e.g., "some teachers are not good at teaching").

Additional Comments

* Some students report that the course curriculum could benefit from more emphasis on practical skills and less on theoretical knowledge (e.g., "management should concentrate on practical knowledge than studying books").
* Others suggest that the course curriculum should be regularly updated to reflect changes in the industry and society (e.g., "our college should implement new methods to score good marks").
* A few students mention that the course curriculum could be improved by incorporating more real-world case studies and projects (e.g., "we should have more practical, and it should be realistic for the present situation").

Note: These findings are based on the students' and alumni's subjective experiences and opinions.
