Placements were good in the 2022 batch.

Placements: Generally, M.Tech materials engineering had fewer placements in the past. But in our batch, there was a flood of opportunities, 75% of our class got placed in both core and non-core job roles. Prominent companies for materials engineering include AMNS steel, Bharat forge, TCE, and RHI magnesite apart from this L&T and NRB bearings also visited our college. Apart from these people were offered by non-cores like TCS innovation, federal bank, Konverge AI, Capgemini, Tiger Analytics, etc. The package for the core job is 5 to 6.5 LPA which is decent, on the other hand, non-core people got around 8 to 12.5 LPA. Talking about internships our college intern policy is too strict for going on internships but AMNS India offers internship and job roles every year. Generally speaking, circuit branches get a ton of jobs and with very high packages, but coming to core branches placement is mostly in IT fields. I would also suggest people take Mech-related M. Techs like CAD-CAM, Industrial, Heat, and power for better placements.

Infrastructure: Faculty members are friendly in the materials department, especially ours. Labs and classrooms are top-notch, some labs are a bit old but can do the job. PG hostel is good and spacious. Food in mess is good but common nobody ever gets satisfied with hostel food anyway, medical facilities are also good but canteen is very small and serves limited things for a college of this scale.

Faculty: In our department teachers are very helpful and friendly, some of them are very dedicated and extremely knowledgeable. Since I was enrolled at the time of the pandemic I couldn't fully comment on semester exams and pass percentages. But I can say the curriculum of our course is a bit outdated.
