VNIT is a place where you can build yourself.

Placements: Placements in VNIT are good. The highest placements are provided for computer science students. Around 70 out of 95 students get placed from CSE branch. Placements for the mechanical branch are good in which almost 65-68 students get placed. The average salary package offered would be around 7-8 LPA. Overall, the placements are good. A total of 400-450 students get placed every year. Getting internships from college is a little difficult task, two or three students from each branch get internshi...

The number of placements in the core sector is to be increased.

Placements: Around 70% of the students got placed. Only one company offered a dream job in the core field. Companies like HUL, Reliance, Godrej, Tata Consulting Engineers, Lupin, UPL, etc., have visited our college to offer placements. Packages offered by the companies are good. The average package offered was 4 LPA. The college needs to bring more and reputed companies to offer placements.

There is really a good environment to learn new things.

Placements: Core placement opportunities are as good as the non-core placement opportunities. Students get placed in companies like Fidelity, JP Morgan, and Morgan Stanley with a package of more than 20 LPA. 3rd-year students were offered internships with an average stipend of Rs. 30,000 per month. Around 90% of the students get placed in the computer science department.

Good infrastructure with a beautiful green campus and motivating faculty.

Placements: VNIT is one of the best NITs present in India. Placement scenario is satisfactory. Computer Science abd Electronics Placements are good. The core branches Civil and Mechanical Placements find a little bit difficulty and lasts longer. But placements are around 90% for these departments. People also choose to go for Post Graduation where the VNIT has good reputation due to notable alumni.

Satisfied with the overall experience in the college, faculty members are good.

Placements: Placements are good, average package for branches like computer Science and electronics is good. But, for civil, it's a bit less. That's the scene for civil anywhere in India, so not a problem. The process is fair and transparent. If one is willing to go for non technical jobs, there are a lot of opportunities for students.

Placements: There are good software placements, especially for B.Tech of any department. The placement process is started at the end of the 6th semester or the start of the 7th semester. There are limited placements for M.Tech, but some good core companies visit the campus like L&T.

I am satisfied by faculty, facilities, exposure, decent placements in 2015 and good infrastructure.

Placements: Our college has a placement cell, which has department representatives working along with the placement coordinator. Two companies visited here for internships for the chemical engineering department for 2015 batch. Godrej is one of them, but they are improved greatly. For final placements, about 70% of the batch got placed in core and non-core jobs in companies like Fractal, Pidilite, Reliance Industries Ltd, JSW, Thyssenkrupp, etc. The average salary package offered was 6 LPA.

Placements: The placements here are good for most of the branches but are bad for some. Computer Science, Mechanical, Electronics, Electrical, Chemical are the branches in which you find good placements. Metallurgy and Mining do struggle during placements. Companies like Amazon, Morgan Stanley, Fidelity, Microsoft, Oracle visit the campus and give CTC more than 10lpa. The salary varies from 27 LPA to 4 LPA. Mostly technical jobs are offered to the students. All the major companies mentioned offer internship...

Disappointed by the changes in the rules for recruiting by T&P, good placement of our Super seniors.

Placements: The placements of our super seniors were pretty good, comparing to that of our senoirs. Due to the privitazation, various mines have reduced their recruitment in the college. The super seniors were fortunate enough to have the advantage of T&P rules and were having the probability of getting paced as 90% to 98%. But the changes made by T&P were not in the favour of students as of I think so. As I am yet to pass the college degree, still hope for the best for our batch. The highest package grabbe...

Placements: Placements of some departments are very good. For example, Computer Science department and ECE department have 100% campus placements. On the other hand, some departments like Civil Engineering and Chemical Engineering offer average placements. Also, the internship opportunities are not very good. Out of around 90-100 students in the department, only 1 or 2 students get the opportunity to do internship in the companies that come for campus selection. Other students can do projects under the prof...

Each department has their placement static, and you can check them on VNIT official site. The college has its placement and training centre in which they train candidate for an interview.
