I am satisfied with the college, and it is highly recommended.

Placements: Many companies from every department field offer placements in our college. But placements after graduation in Honours are a bit difficult as compared to post-graduation courses. Most of our batchmates choose the teaching field in various institutions across the country. Other roles offered to students are speechwriter/travel writer/reviewer, public relation officer, arts administrator, communicator, writer, editor and researcher.

Infrastructure: Our campus has facilities of Wi-Fi and a laboratory. It has good infrastructure, and medical facilities are also available. There is no hostel facility. The library has plenty of books, and students can easily access them, which is beneficial and really helpful.

Faculty: Professors here are really highly qualified and very helpful. Their teaching quality is good. Semester exams are a bit tough, and students have to study hard. However, the professors will definitely clear doubts and will help you with the reference and study materials.

My college experience was quite good. It was more comfortable than fun.

Placements: Our college doesn't have an active placement cell though a few of our talented seniors from the English and journalism department got placed in Amazon in 2018-2019 with a salary of Rs. 15,000 per month. Amazon visited our college, but in the previous year, it didn't visit due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Our college doesn't provide internships, but most of the students do internships on their own.

Infrastructure: Our college doesn't have any hostel facility, but students can apply to Calcutta University for the hostel. Our college is sprawled over a pink-coloured five-storeyed building. Our college has two separate buildings, among which one is for PG on the front side, and the backside building is for UG. There is a common room, chemistry lab, computer room and a small gym on the ground floor of the PG building. There is also an elevator, but it can be used only by staff members. There is a canteen, but the food served in it is average. Wi-Fi is available, but it doesn't work mostly or works very poorly. In the UG building, there is an air-conditioned library and an office on the first floor. Our departmental classroom is on the ground floor, and an air-conditioned seminar hall is available on the third floor, where most of the seminars/classes are conducted.

Faculty: All the teachers in our English department are very helpful, friendly, cooperative and highly qualified. Their teaching method is very blissful, and they are ready to resolve all queries anytime. There are not any engineering or management courses, so industrial basis training is not provided. Our college has B.Sc program in geography, economics and chemistry and B.A in English, Bengal, Hindi journalism, sociology, political science and history. But it doesn't have B.Com.

Other: Our college doesn't organise any grand fest or event but organises a social event once a year at Girish Mancho and annual sports at Baghbazar field.

Faculty are amazing here.

Placements: No placement drives were conducted on the campus. Although we were told in our first year that we would be getting a couple of internship offers in our last year, they didn't provide any of those offers. Many organisations visited the campus and organised different seminars. Many organisations also proposed to us to volunteer with them.

Infrastructure: We have two academic buildings in our college; one is for the post graduation courses, and the other one is for undergraduate courses. We have a large hall where seminars were held. Other than that, we also have good labs. The college doesn't provide any Wi-Fi facility for students. There is a library, but it has only a few books.

Faculty: The faculty of our English department are really helpful and friendly. They taught us each and every concept of the syllabus properly. Even they used to conduct interactive classes where we used to ask them questions about our curriculum. Other than that, they also used to conduct a parent-teachers meeting.

Other: There weren't many events or fests to write about. Every year, they used to organise a picnic for the students. Other than that, they used to organise one social programme in alternate years.

The college is not good in any aspect except faculty members.

Placements: There are no such placements or job opportunities provided for us. We have to do everything on our own merit. Recently, Amazon visited our college for placements. Only a few students got qualified with very good marks in the very first year of graduation.

Infrastructure: Though we have college Wi-Fi facility in college, it's quality is really poor and it doesn't work. We have large and well-equipped classrooms. We have many other facilities like a gym and two canteens with good quality of food. We have lifts in our college as well, but they can be used by the teachers and staff members only. The AC is only for showcase as I haven't seen it working even for a single day in my 3 years. The college is only good for studies; otherwise, it won't facilitate us with much.

Faculty: I would definitely say that the quality of teaching is good. We are grateful to our teachers as the way they teach us is really blissful and happening. The faculty members are good. But the modern-day equipment is not used for teaching and learning. Teachers only teach us with the help of books and no other means of study. The faculty to student ratio is getting low day by day. We don't really get industry exposure, and the curriculum is also not useful. We don't properly get what other students get from their colleges. The college is not worthy, and I am not happy with it. The college must improve in many things.

Other: There are no such events conducted except the college social event. We don't even get our farewell. The college surroundings are not good, and the students of CBSE board won't get any scholarships even if they are from a poor background. There are no extracurricular activities conducted in our college. In short, I don't like the college very much as if has no connection with the modern day eduacation.

Bagbazar women's College is the best college in Kolkata for every women's.

Placements: 75% students were placed in my course the lowest 1000 And the highest 5000 Our college is so big and there were so many rooms and every room have AC and personal library and the Teachers are so helpful and there was also gym and sports area and auditorium room.

Infrastructure: English honours course at Baghbazar romance college is better than any other college But there was no hostel And at bagbazar men's college I will I will canteen and medical faculty members and sports and games Our college is so big and there were so many rooms and every room have AC and personal library and the Teachers are so helpful and there was also gym and sports area and auditorium room.

Faculty: Bagbazar women's college teacher where so have full and qualified in knowledgeable The teachers are so supportive The semester of the college is not so much difficult and also not so much easy The pass percentage is 95% Women's college Calcutta is the best college.

Other: I choose English honours course because I have interest in English literature and my college is so supportive and the Teachers always help us for ready for our future There was no crowd in campus.
