B.A. (Hons.) in Political Science - Batch of 2027
Offered by Zakir Husain Delhi College (Evening)

Review of Zakir Husain Delhi College Evening .
Placements: Placement offers are quite good because on Google it shows that the highest package of Zakir Husain Delhi College Evening is 12 LPA, and the lowest was 3 LPA. Both are good enough. As it is in an office campus, it offers a good package accordingly.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure is the area they really need to work hard on, although a new building is going to open soon. Classrooms are very small, and the canteen is not good. There is no hostel facility in Zakir Husain Delhi College Evening. GCR and BCR are maintained very nicely.
Faculty: Faculty members and teachers are really helpful. They are very good at teaching and also help with real-life issues. Teachers in this college participate in events equally with students. They also sat in protest for their demands. All over, it's very good.

Dissatisfied with the faculty and their behavior.
Placements: There is not greater placement in this course because, generally, students opt for this subject for their UPSC exams. An internship is provided by the university according to the records of the student. In this course, students explore the political area. This course helps students improve their ideas about political careers.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the college is too good, having great buildings, a beautiful garden area and a good football field to play on. It also provides Wi-Fi and labs for students. But the canteen food is not as good as the students wanted. The library is too big for its great facilities.
Faculty: Teachers are not that helpful in this college because they treat the students based on how they know them. Teachers like the students who listen to them and follow them blindly, which is not good at all. Teachers are not interested in teaching.

I was quite satisfied and expected more.
Placements: I've been unaware of the placement cell; either it isn't fully active or no arrangements have been made by the college to make us better understand the procedure. To my knowledge, no one is placed. Extempore, debate competitions, and speeches were organised on a regular basis.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi was not available. Classrooms are average. Mess and canteen food is okay. Sports and game activities are regular, and society is very active Several societies like dance, NCC and NSS, are also active The library is good, and books are available according to the course offered
.
Faculty: Some of them were helpful. The course is relevant, and I'm glad I chose it. Semester exams are quite easy. However, administration needs to be more systematic. Recently, the Er problem emerged, in which students faced the issue of absence even though they were present in the examination.
Other: I have an interest in political science. Events festivals were regularly organised, and extracurricular activities are a common part of the day-to-day life of camus.

Our college has good faculty members but placements are not good.
Placements: Morning college has good placements every year but not for evening college as very less students get placed. Companies from the IT sector and business sectors come to offer placements but arts students can't get placed in the IT sector.
Infrastructure: A hostel is not provided in our college. The sports ground is closed for 2 years. The food served in the canteen is not good. Wi-Fi is not provided. The library is quite good and fully air-conditioned. Sports infrastructure is not available on campus.
Faculty: Teachers in our college are very helpful. The teaching quality is good. The course curriculum is relevant for political science theory sectors but it can't make students industry-ready. Exams are not so hard because questions are repeated. The pass percentage is 40%.
Other: I chose this course as I want to pursue law after this. The best thing about our course is it helps students in getting a full knowledge of politics in India and the world. Everything is good about the course.

Here are some points you can consider .
Placements: In Political Science Honours, there is no placement cell, and you don't get any package. It is more common for Commerce or Science streams at the graduate level. In Political Science, you receive a package after post-graduation, so don't expect placements immediately after your degree.
Infrastructure: The faculty members were good enough; they taught you very well, took care of your studies, and shared their experiences, which brought energy to you. The classroom is average, as it's a government college, but the new building was mind-blowing, though it is not open yet. The library was decent, the canteen is average, and sports are also available if you're interested.
Faculty: The teachers were knowledgeable and experienced. The course is helpful to your thoughts; it brings new ideas to your mind and makes you feel like a responsible citizen of the country. If you study it with honesty, the semester exams were not so difficult; they're easy to moderate, and you can pass the exam by just going through the syllabus. However, if you want to score decent marks, you have to study.
