Placements: Currently, I am studying at Zakir Husain Delhi College. I am from a commerce background pursuing B.Com (Hons), the minimum percentage you need to enter the commerce course is 93-95%, though now it is an entrance-based admission. The average package in commerce is around 5-7 Lacs per annum. Most of the societies are inactive, but some societies are doing fabulous work, and these are NSS, Aranya - the environmental society and Aasmi. Though, it totally depends upon the students who run the societi...
Placements: I'm from the B.A. program and there is not even a glimpse of the term placements. So don't expect much in terms of placements in the B.A. course. So it's better to think to pursue a master's degree from a good college. You can opt for a better course.
Placements: Psychology students don't get placed just after their under-graduation. So there are no salary packages. Regarding the recruitment, I am not sure since its my first year. Some of my seniors are involved with internships but they do that by themselves. Some teachers do inform us regarding internships.
Placements: There are no placements, because it is just for graduation degree, students should have to do other degrees to get placements. Every college has internships or off-campus so this college has company reach because it is not just enough to justify a job to any person.
Placements: The highest salary packages start from 5 LPA and placements for the ones with good academic backgrounds. The percentage of students placed in our course is 60 to 70%. The top roles offered are HR Manager or anything from economic teacher to a marketing salesman.
Placements: There are no placement opportunities. 5-10% of students get placed. The highest package offered is 3 LPA. The lowest package is 1 LPA. The top recruiting companies are Tata, Sonata etc. Many students in my course got internships. The top roles offered in my course were in human resources and psychology.
Placements: Campus placements are very good. The college supports the students in their studies and also has given special time when students come to contact with their faculty teachers. Teachers and students conduct lots of seminar for the welfare of their juniors so they get to know about it.
Placements: There is a lack of effective placements, but there are opportunities for internships. But I noticed that the college organizes a placement program every year. Companies conduct interviews and offer jobs. Overall, the placements in our college are decent.
Placements: There is a placement cell that manages this area. Every year placement program is organised by the college to help in each semester and for special final year students. Students grasp the opportunity to get a placement and also get the experience of an interview.
Placements: Though B.A (Hons) political science is not a course which will give you placements, it generally makes you ready for a master's in humanities or to prepare a base for exams like UPSC, etc. In other courses like B.Com, etc., placements are average. The placement rate is around 70%, and some students choose to pursue a master's. The average salary package offered hovers around 2 LPA-3 LPA, and the highest salary package offered is 5 LPA. Overall, I suggest you don't join a college like ZHDC if you...
Placements: Placement is not good in our college, earlier everyone got placement which were provided by our college. Personally I have not expected that I get a placement for my future career. I don't know about the package which is provided by college placement.
Placements: About 50-60% of the students take this course. In this course, you can gain more knowledge about all subjects. I haven't completed the course. About 4 to 5 students got internships from our college, and it is very useful for students future. Every student prepares well for internships. Overall, it is good.
Placements: College has one placement committee but that isn't functioning properly as they aren't able to deliver results. Very poor placements. About 20-30% of the batch got placed. The highest salary offered is around 20000. Students easily get internship but seeking a good job is tough here.
Placements: The placement cell of the college is not excellent but quite good. Companies and newspaper editors visit our college to hire students based on their skills writing skills and many others. Some students achieve their goals in sports also.
Placements: There were a few placements on the campus, but I was not a part of those. IBM was one of the companies that visited our college for placements. Various other companies were offering roles to students in marketing and human resources field. There is a placement cell which includes students as well.
Placements: The campus placement cell is very good because our college offers the best placements for all the courses. It is very good that all the students get an opportunity because if you go for an interview anywhere, everybody wants work-experience to offer a job. So you should really try to get a placement in the college itself.
Placements: There are no placements at all in this college from the past 3 years. But, in our year 2017, only 1 company came, it is of LIC profile. The role offered to the students is to make people buy their policies. I don't know the placement percentage, but there are very few students who got selected, and also it was not at all useful.
Placements: I wasn't a part of the placement cell, but it never became a headline in our class either, and no one ever showed any excitement for the placements. So, I believe it was not an active and effective one. It did call some financial institutions, but they didn't really take in any students. Also, they provided low and below basic positions with the same kind of salary.
Placements: Our placement cell was formed a year ago. So, our placement cell is average and also, the average package offered is not much plus not known companies visited our college for the placements. But, the students are working hard towards improving our placement cell.
Placements: Although being a famous name in Delhi University, the college still stands too far from its placement qualities. The science department has not seen any single placement since ages whereas the commerce department invites a great many jobs. The maximum salary in the college offered was 3 lacs per annum, and approximately 15 students are selected out of a batch of 60 in the college itself.
