IIT Bombay has also made some changes to the CEED 2024 exam pattern

The CEED 2024 exam will be conducted on January 21, 2024 (9 am - 12 noon).

The exam will have two parts - Part A and Part B. Note that Part B answer booklets will be evaluated only if the candidate qualifies Part A.

Q:   With CEED 2024 syllabus being revised, how do I select the study material?

A:

IIT Bombay has revised the syllabus for the CEED 2024 exam. This means the candidate can’t blindly follow the exam preparation that are already available in the market.

What you can do is check if any the latest edition of CEED exam preparation study materia has been released in the market. If not, you can even use the old books, but make sure that you cover the relevant topics only.

Also, read the reviews of the book, if available, to get an idea reading the quality of the study material.

Why should I use the best study material for CEED 2024 exam preparation?

Q:   If I am not able to complete syllabus for CEED 2024, what should I do?

A:

The CEED syllabus can be daunting for some candidates. So, if you are not able to complete it, don'tpanic. The trick in these situations is to first focus on the easy topics and complete the first. If you manage that your anxiety levels will automatically come down. Next move on the moderate difficult topics. If you are able to tackle them, you can start working on the difficult ones. If you get stuck with a topic or problem, it is best to not spend prodigious time trying to master it. Instead move on to the next topic. You can revisit the difficult topic, if you have time.

Q:   What should I do if I am not able to complete a particular topic from the CEED 2024 syllabus?

A:

The candidate must note that the CEED 2024 syllabus is quite comprehensive. Also, this year the syllabus has been revised. So, it is expected that some candidates may find the new syllabus difficult. The reverse is also true - some candidates may find the new syllabus easier!

If you are not able to complete a particular chapter or topic even after a few attempts, it is better to let it go for the time being. Move on to the next topic and complete that. Once you are done with the easier topics, you can come back and tackle the difficult ones. The point here is the judicious use of time.

Why Consult the revised CEED syllabus for exam preparation

The revised syllabus should be followed only by candidates if they are appearing in the CEED 2024 entrance exam or in the next editions.

  1. The CEED revised syllabus contains the topics from which questions will be asked in the exam.
  2. The revised syllabus is only to be followed for the CEED 2024 exam, as questions will not be set as per the old syllabus.
  3. The CEED question paper has two parts - Part A and Part B. The syllabus is released for both parts.
  4. Along with the syllabus, the candidate must also consult the CEED exam pattern for exam preparation.
