IIT Bombay will conduct the CEED 2025 exam on January 19, 2025. The exam will be administered as a combination of an online, computer-based test (Part A) and an offline (Part B) tests. The exam will be held in 25 cities across the country. On exam day, the candidate needs to follow some important guidelines to ensure that the exam day is smooth and goes as planned. Q: When should I start my preparation for CEED 2025?
Q: If I fail to qualify Part A, will I be issued the CEED 2025 scorecard?
The score card of CEED 2025 will be issued to all candidates who will appear in the CEED 2025 exam. So, even if you have failed to qualify Part A, you can download the scorecard.
But note that in this case, the scorecard will only include the qualifying status and Part A marks. Part B marks, Total marks, and merit ranks will only be issued to qualified candidates. Also, only such candidates who have been assigned a merit rank can participate in the counseling process conducted by participating institutes.
Q: When will the admission notification be released for the CEED 2025 exam?
IIT Bombay released the admission notification for CEED 2025 exam on October 1, 2024. The admission portal for CEED 2025 has also been launched - ceed.iitb.ac.in.
The portal contain the updates about the CEED 2025 exam. It also contain useful recourses like previous years’ question papers, answer keys, and course fee details.
Meanwhile, the admission notification contains details pertaining to the admission schedule, information brochure, eligibility criteria, pattern, and resources like question papers and answer keys. The candidate needs to carefully go through the notification to ensure their eligibility and prepare for the exam.
The CEED 2025 application form is open from October 1-31, 2024.
- Exam date and time: January 19, 2025, (9.00 am – 12.00 noon)
- Reporting time: 7:00 am. Note that once the entry gates close at 9 am, no candidate will be allowed entry inside the exam center.
- Document checklist - Along with a printout of the CEED 2023 admit card, the candidate also needs to bring with them a valid, Original photo ID proof. The biometric information (thumb impression and photograph) of the candidate will be recorded at the time of exam registration.
- Doubtful candidates - If the candidate's identity is found to be doubtful by the invigilators and IIT representatives, then the candidate may not be allowed to sit in the exam. The officials may also allow such candidates to sit in the exam after completing certain formalities. However, the time lost in ascertaining the identity of such candidates will not be compensated. Further, the candidature of the doubtful candidate will be subject to the decision of the UCI Committee, which shall be final and binding.
- Impersonation and/or use of any unfair means - Using unfair means or impersonation will be considered a serious offense and could result in immediate disqualification of the candidate. Additionally, criminal proceedings may also be initiated against such candidates.
- Technical issues during the CEED 2023 exam - In case there is a technical failure in the computer-based Part A exam, for instance, if the computer system allocated to the candidate stops working, the candidate must immediately approach the invigilator. Exam officials in such cases will try to resolve the problem immediately or assign the candidate a different computer terminal. Further, the time lost due to any such technical problems will get automatically recorded in the server and the lost time will get adjusted.

The scorecard of CEED 2025 will be released on March 10, 2025; the last date to download the scorecard is June 11, 2025.
The validity of the scorecard will be one year from the date of its issue. Using the scorecard, the candidate can apply for admission to both CEED 2025 participating and result-sharing institutes.
The scorecard will carry details like the Qualifying status and Part A marks. Open & category-wise Merit rank, and Part B & Total marks will be issued only if the candidate has qualified Part A.

No, SPA Delhi MDes admissions are entrance-based. As per the official brochure, candidates willing to take admission to this programme must have a valid CEED score. Based on these scores, students are ranked and allocated a seat. Moreover, the students must also fulfill the eligibility requirements

CEED Notifications
The CEED 2025 exam will be conducted on January 19, 2025.
So, the candidate has a three months or so to prepare for the exam. Given the CEED 2025 syllabus is of moderate to difficult, you would ideally need 6 months or so to prepare for the exam.
That being said, if your fundamentals are strong, you can cover the syllabus in less time. Before starting you preparation, go through the syllabus and pattern, and draft a plan. Once the plan is ready, get going with full guns blazing.
Note that to fully prepare for the exam, you need to solve sample papers and take mock tests.
