NIFT PG 2025 participating colleges offer M.Des, M.F.Tech, and M.F.M courses. Candidates applying to the M.Des course will have to appear in both GAT and CAT, whereas M.FTech and M.F.M candidates need to take only the GAT. The GAT paper will be held in a computer-based mode, while CAT will offline-based.
Q: When will the NIFT 2025 application form open?
The online application form for NIFT 2025 is OPEN with regular fees from November 22-January 6, 2025.
With late fees, applications will be accepted from Janaury 7-9, 2025.

The application form for NIFT PG 2025 is open online at exams.nta.ac.in/NIFT.
Candidates who meet the prescribed eligibility criteria may apply for the exam before the last date.
Also, when filling in the form, the candidate must make sure that they are using only genuine and verifiable information as otherwise applications may be rejected.
How to apply for NIFT PG 2025
The step-wise process to fill out the NIFT application form 2025 for PG courses is given below.
- Go to the NIFT 2025 admission portal
- Click on the “Click Here to Register/ Log-in (UG/PG)” tab
- A registration form will open
- Enter Aadhaar details and other basic information to register and create an applicant account.
- Next, log in to the account and fill in personal, academic, and contact details.
- Select an exam city from the drop-down menu.
- Upload documents.
- Pay the application fee and submit the application form.
NIFT PG Application Fee 2025
The candidate has to pay the application fee when filling the form. Note that the application fee is non-refundable. The application fee can be paid online using credit card, debit card, or net banking.
Q: What are the documents needed and prescribed format to apply for NIFT 2025?
When filling out the NIFT 2025 application form, you will have to upload your photograph and signature. The accepted specifications for the documents are mentioned below. Photograph - Upload only a recent scanned passport size color photograph. The accepted file size should be no more than 100KB. The accepted format is jpeg only. Signature - The scanned signature should be in Blue/Black ink on white background. The accepted file size is 100KB (maximum). The file should be in jpeg format only.
Q: Can I pay the NIFT 2025 application fee using demand draft?
As per the current system, there is no scope to pay the NIFT 2025 application fee using demand draft.
The candidate has to pay the NIFT application fee 2025 online using online payment gateway, including credit card, debit card, or net banking.
Note that unless the application fee has been paid successfully, the NIFT 2025 application form filling process will not be considered complete. The NIFT 2025 application fee for general category is INR 3,000. Meanwhile, SC, ST, and PwD candidates only need to pay INR 1,500. It is recommended that candidates pay the fee specific to their category, or else the candidate may not be considered for admission.
Q: Will NTA alter information entered by the candidate in NIFT application form?
The NTA will not edit/ modify/ alter any information entered by the candidate under any circumstances. It will also not entertain requests for change in information. So, you must exercise utmost caution when filling up the form.
Request for corrections made by any candidates through Post/Fax/ WhatsApp/ Email/ by hand will not be entertained by NTA.
Q: How can I select exam centres when applying for NIFT 2025?
The candidate will have to select an exam centre for NIFT 2025 when filling out the application form.
After completing the registration process, log in to the application portal and click on the exam centre selection option. Then select your preferred city from the drop down menu.
The NIFT 2025 exam will be conducted across 82 cities in India. Note that each of these exam cities may have one or more exam centres.
The name, address, and reporting time for the NIFT 2025 exam center will be mentioned in the admit card.
Q: What is the application fee for NIFT 2025 exam?
The NIFT 2025 application fee is category-specific. The application fee for General/OBC (Non-Creamy)/GEN-EWS Category. Meanwhile, those belonging to SC/ ST/ PwD Category need to pay only INR 1,500. The application fee has to be paid online using net banking, credit, or debit cards. The application fee will have to be paid at the time of filling out the NIFT 2025 application form. Note that payment made using demand draft will not be accepted.

NIFT PG Exam Center 2025
NTA will conduct the NIFT PG 2025 exam in 82 cities across India. The list of exam centers is updated in the NIFT 2025 exam prospectus.

How to Prepare for NIFT PG 2025 exam
The candidate can prepare for the NIFT PG exam 2025 at home.
To start exam preparation, the candidate needs to follow the updated syllabus and pattern.
Next, make a study timetable taking into account the syllabus and difficulty level.
It is recommended that the candidate take notes during preparation as these notes will come in handly for quick revision.
Solve as many sample papers as you can. Also, solve previous years’ papers to understand the types of questions asked, the extent of the syllabus, and specific questions.

NIFT PG Entrance Exam 2025 - Result
NTA will declare the results of NIFT PG Entrance Exam 2025 in March 2025.
The scores of the written exam will be used to shortlist candidates for a Personal Interview.
The dates and schedule for the interview will be released after written exam results are declared.
The FINAL result of NIFT PG 2025 exam will be declared after considering the performance in the written exams (CAT and GAT) and the personal interview.c

NIFT PG Entrance Exam 2025 - Counseling
The National Institute of Fashion Technology will organize the counseling for NIFT PG 2025.
The counseling process will be held online and a centralized process for the NIFT 2025 participating colleges.
Candidates who meet the eligibility criteria must register for counseling and participate in a choice-filling process. As part pf the choice-filling process, the candidate needs to select their academic program and campus.
The entries must be in the order of priority.
The NIFT PG 2025 seat allotment will be based on the merit rank of the candidate, seats available, NIFT PG merit rank 2025, etc.
The candidate will have to pay the seat-acceptance fee and confirm the seat within the given deadline. If the payment is not made, the allocation will be canceled and allocated to the candidate next in the order of merit.
