IIT Bombay will release the detailed exam pattern for UCEED 2025 tentatively in September 2024. The exam pattern will be outlined in the information brochure for the UCEED 2025 exam. The candidate can find the previous years’ exam analysis for the UCEED exam on this page. The exam analysis will cover both Part A and Part B of the exam. Note that it is mandatory for candidates to qualify Part A; or else Part B answer booklet will not be evaluated.

Q: What is the purpose of the UCEED 2025 exam analysis?
The exam analysis for UCEED 2025 will be updated on this page as soon as the exam gets over. IIT Bombay doesn’t release any exam analysis for the UCEED exam. It simpy conducts the exam, and releases the draft and final answer keys. Consequently, no official analysis is available for the UCEED 2025 exam.

Q: What will be exam pattern of UCEED 2025?
The UCEED 2025 exam will have two parts - Part A and Part B. As per the pattern, Part A will be conducted in a computer-based mode at various test centres across the country. The question paper for Part A will include three types of questions NAT MSQ, and MCQ type questions. The test duration for Part A will be 2 hours. Part B will now include two questions - A design-based question and a Design Aptitude question. Also, the test duration for Part B is 60 minutes.
Q: Is there any partial marking in UCEED 2025?
Yes, there is partial marking in UCEED 2025 exam for MSQ and MCQ based questions.
For instance, for MSQ questions, If all the four options are correct but ONLY three options are chosen and NONE of the incorrect options is chosen, the candidate will be awarded 3 marks (out of 4). Meanwhile, if only (all) the correct option(s) is(are) chosen and NONE of the incorrect options is chosen, the candidate will be allocated the full 4 marks.
Q: Is there any changes to the UCEED 2025 exam pattern?
IIT Bombay had released a notification on its official website notifying that the UCEED exam starting in 2024 will be conducted following a revised syllabus. As per the revised syllabus, there has also been some changes to the UCEED exam pattern. For instance, the Part B question paper will now include two questions - 1) one question will be on Drawing and 2) the other question will be on Design Aptitude. Note that previously, Part B included a solitary, drawing-based question. Also, the time duration for Part B has been increased to 60 minutes from 30 minutes.

The Department of Design, IITD, is set ton introduce a B.Tech in Design program from the upcoming admission session.
