Interior Design is the art of creatively designing the interior of a room, apartment, or building. Interior Designer makes the interior safe, beautiful and more aesthetic in appearance. An Interior Designer handles planning, research, construction, and enhancement of projects. Interior Designers may decorate the interior, but a decorator does not design the interior. Interior Designers must be highly skilled to create an enhanced environment in a room. Interior Design is also a science that creates functional space and understanding behaviour. There are a variety of paths which a person can choose to become a professional Interior Designer.
Interior Designing courses can be pursued as both a degree and certificate courses. Also, you can study it as a bachelor's degree and master's degree courses according to your eligibility. The bachelor's degree courses include Bachelor in Interior Design (B.Des), B.Sc in Interior Design, B.A. in Interior Design, BBA in Interior Design, B.Arch in Interior Design, and B.Tech in Interior Design. These are 3-year courses with six semesters. Master's degrees in Interior Design are Masters in Interior Design (M.Des), M.A. in Interior Design, M.B.A. in Interior Design, M.Arch in Interior Design, and M.Tech in Interior Design which is 2-years post-graduate programs.

Bachelors in Interior Design are six-semester courses: Bachelors in Interior Design contains six semesters, including theoretical and practical knowledge. It provides necessary skills to the candidates for Interior Design. Students from any stream can pursue a bachelor's degree in Interior Design.

Master's in Interior Design is a four-semester course: Master's in Interior Design is a four-semester course for candidates who have completed their bachelor's degree in Interior Design.

In addition, there is viva-voice which is also held twice a year. There is a major project held in the sixth semester.
