IIT Bombay Cutoff 2015: Category-Wise Ranks

IIT Bombay cutoff is based on JEE Advanced scores followed by the JoSAA Counselling. Every year, JoSAA releases round-wise Seat Allotment results for candidates who qualify for the cutoff for BTech admissions. The following article gives information regarding the previous year IIT Bombay cutoff 2015 for categories including, General, OBC, SC, and ST for All India Seat Quota.

IIT Bombay cutoff for BTech, BS and Integrated BTech-MTech is released for various categories including the General category. For cutoff 2015, JEE Advanced Round 1 closing ranks for all courses ranged between 59 and 4206, whereas the closing ranks for the last round ranged between 59 and 2979. Q:   What has been the trend for cut-off for B.Tech. in Electrical Engineering at IIT Bombay - Indian Institute of Technology in last few years?

A:

The cutoff trend for B.Tech at IIT Bombay - Indian Institute of Technology has been decreasing in the recent years. In 2021, the closing rank for B.Tech. under general category for all India quota was 434. In 2022, it decreased to 369. Likewise, the cut off ranks have changed from 274 to 304 for OBC, 128 to 135 for SC, 80 to 102 for ST, 117 to 114 for EWS, 52 to 38 for PWD. This trend is likely to continue in the coming years, as the demand for engineering education in India continues to grow.
