JEE Main 2024 BArch/Bplan Exam Session 1: The National Testing Agency (NTA) conducted the JEE Main 2024 BArch/BPlan on January 24, 2024. Session 1 Paper 2 (BArch BPlan) Question Paper Answer Key Solution will be available here soon. With the help of the Session (January 24, 2024) BArch BPlan question paper and answer key solutions, candidates will be able to check the memory-based questions and the corresponding correct responses. This section consists of 50 questions for 200 marks. As per the students' review, some of the questions with answers are provided below that were asked in the examination.

Q: How many questions are asked in JEE Main exam?
The JEE Main exam will have a total of 75 questions from all three subjects. The exam will have 25 questions each from Physics Chemistry and Mathematics. Out of 25 questions, 20 will be multiple choice questions and 5 will be questions with numerical value answers. Students need to answer all 5 numerical value type questions. Also all 20 multiple choices questions are compulsory and no choice is provided in them. Students need to complete all the 75 questions in 3 hours.
Q: Do I need to attempt all the questions in JEE Main exam?
Yes, it is compulsory to attempt all the question in exam. Students need to attempt a total of 75 questions in the exam. Students are advised to attempt only those questions for which they can arrive at the answer/solutions. Questions for which the answer is not sure should be left as incorrect answer would lead to negative marking. Students must note that there are no minimum marks in JEE Main that students need to score. Students gets All India Rank based on the marks they secure in exam and gets admission based on that rank.
Q: What type of questions are asked in JEE Main?
The JEE Main question paper will have questions from Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics as per the prescribed syllabus. Each Subject will have two sections. Section A will be of Multiple-Choice Questions (MCQs) and Section B will contain Questions whose answers are to be filled in as a numerical value. In Section B, candidates have to attempt any 05 (five) questions out of 10. There will be negative marking for both Section A and Section B. For each question in Section B.A. Candidate has to enter the correct integer value of the answer using the mouse and the on-screen virtual numeric keypad in the place designated to enter the answer. For Section B, the answer should be rounded off to the nearest integer.

JEE Main 2024 Paper 2 BArch Mathematics Questions
This section consists of 20 MCQs and 10 NAT questions. As per the students' some of the questions asked in the JEE Main 2024 Paper 2 are listed below:

It is advised that students should solve at least previous 10 year question papers of JEE Main. However, the exam pattern as well as difficulty level of JEE Mains has underwent a lot of changes during the last 10 years but still solving previous year JEE Main question papers from last 10 years will definitely help in scoring the good marks in the exam. As new type of questions (Questions with Numerical Value Answer) were intrduced recently, students are advised to practice solving these type of questions to help solve it during the actual exam.
Q: What are the numerical value questions in JEE Main exam?
Numerical value questions in JEE Main are the questions for which the answer will be a numerical value. In every subject, there will be 5 numerical value type questions and students need to attempt all 5 questions. In total, students will need to answer only 75 questions. For numerical value type questions, the answer should be rounded off to the nearest integer.
Q: What are the main subjects of JEE Main?
JEE Main exam has three subjects- Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics. Question paper of JEE Main is prepared with questions from all the three subjects with equal weightage of 33%. A total of 90 questions are asked in the exam, 30 each from Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics. The syllabus of JEE Mains for all three subjects is as per the CBSE/NCERT textbook of class 11 and 12. Candidates can select their preferred language in which they wish to appear in the exam at the time of filling the application form. During the exam, the question paper will be available in two language, English and the language selected at the time of filling the form. JEE Main 2024 Paper 2 (BArch/BPlan) Analysis

Mathematics - Easy to Moderate. As per some students' Mathematics had a few lengthy questions.
Important topics were Quadratic Equations, Progression & Series, Inverse Trigonometric Equations, Binomial Theorem, Complex Numbers, Probability, Permutation & Combination, Matrices, Determinants, 3D Geometry, Vectors, Limits & Continuity, Definite Integrals, Differential Equations.
Aptitude - Easy to Moderate, Some students' found questions easy.
Important topics were 3-dimensional figures, architecture aptitude, and monumental details, with some logic-based questions.
Drawing - Easy
Important questions were copying a picture from the screen as per own perception in black and white. The second question involved two options out of which one option had to be attempted - View of a football stadium as a spectator OR Abstract Art using a musical instrument in 3D and naming the texture and shadow effect.
Planning - Easy
Important topics were National Commission, Town Planning and Planning based questions. General Knowledge questions consisted of the names of the architects of some important monuments.

On January 24, 2024, NTA conducted the JEE Main 2024 BArch/Bplan (Paper 2) from 3 PM to 6:30 PM (Shift 2). Candidates can use the answer key to prepare for the upcoming exam or calculate their probable secured scores before the authorities declare the official JEE Main 2024 result.

JEE Main 2024 cutoff will consist of the minimum marks that is required to qualify the examination.
