JEE Main Application Correction 2025: NTA opened the facility of JEE Main Photo Correction 2025 from November 16 to 17. Candidates who received email/SMS regarding error in the photo uploaded in their JEE Main application form had to re-upload their photograph as per the required specifications. JEE Main photo correction window 2025 link was available on this page and the official website jeemain.nta.nic.in.

JEE Main Application from correction was open from November 26 to 27, 2024. Candidates were allowed to change/modify details in the filled JEE Main 2025 application during the correction period. NTA also sent emails/messages to candidates whose application forms require correction.

NTA released the JEE Mains exam city slip 2025 session 1 on January 10. JEE Main City Intimation Slip 2025 is available for download on the JEE Main official website jeemain.nta.nic.in. To download the JEE Mains exam city intimation slip, candidates need to login on the website using their application number and date of birth. The exam city slip will have details of city in which the test centre of candidate is located and the date of exam.

NTA has released the JEE Main 2025 dates on the official website jeemain.nta.ac.in.   1. Visit the JEE Main 2025 official website - https://jeemain.nta.nic.in
  2. Navigate and hit the ‘Registered Candidate Login’ tab
  3. Enter your Application Number, Date of Birth, and Security Pin on the login window
  4. Click the ‘Login’ button
  5. Click on ‘Manage Form Particulars Correction’ to edit and make changes
  6. Read the instructions carefully
  7. Edit the information and make the changes

How to Change Candidate Name in JEE Main Application Form 2025

Candidates who have made any spelling error in their name in the JEE Main application form need not worry. Candidates can correct spelling mistakes of their names during the correction window. It is to be noted that NTA has started the facility of Aadhaar-based e-KYC facility for filling the completely optional form. Candidates who have filled the form with Aadhaar-based e-KYC will not be able to change their name. Candidates who have not used the Aadhaar-based e-KYC will be able to correct the spelling mistake/ change name during the correction period by login to the JEE Main 2025 website.

Q:   How was JEE Main 22 January 2025 shift 1 exam?

A:

The subject-wise difficulty level of JEE Main January 22 shift 1 exam has been released. Candidates can check here the JEE Main 22 January shift 1 paper difficulty level based on subject expert analysis.

Mathematics: Students found the Mathematics section challenging, and it took them longer than expected to complete.

The exam will have a total of 90 questions from 3 subjects, Physics Chemistry and Mathematics. Students have to answer 75 questions out of 90 in 3 hours without any break. Also, there is no separate time for subjects and students can appear any subject based on his/her choice.

NTA has not specified any fixed dress code fo JEE Main exam. However, candidates are advised to wear light and comfortable clothes on the day of exam. Also, candidates are not allowed to wear any kind of jewellery. During the checking at exam centres, scarfs (dupatta) and cap are checked. So candidates should avoid wearing any thing which could result in problems.

JEE Main Correction window 2025 - How to change details

Candidates will be able to change the following particulars/details in their application form during the correction window. To use JEE Mains correction in application form 2025, follow the steps given here

  • Name: Candidates can edit/change their name in the uploaded JEE Main application form as per their Class 10 mark sheet after login.
  • Photo/Image: You can make changes to the uploaded photograph and signatures. NTA has recently announced that photographs without names and dates will be accepted.
  • Paper: Candidates will be allowed to change the choice of papers in JEE Main 2025 exam, or opt for both papers. Any extra amount that may arise as a result of a change of option has to be paid at the time of making the corrections.
  • Category: According to the information, candidates will be able to change their category from SC/ST/Girls/PwD to General/OBC NCL. An additional fee might be charged.
  • Language: Aspirants can change the medium of examination from English to Hindi/Gujarati.
  • Aadhaar number: Like last year, candidates will be able to update their Aadhaar card numbers.
  • Date of Birth: The date of birth can be edited/changed as per the candidate’s Class 10 mark sheet.
  • Communication address: Aspirants will be able to edit/change/update their address of communication.
  • Contact number: The contact number filled by candidates in JEE Main application form can be edited/changed/updated.

The application fee for the reserved category is lesser as compared to the fees paid by General category students. Thus, reserved category students will be required to pay the balance fee. The fee refund for JEE Main correction in application fees

  • Aspirants who opt for both JEE Main 2025 Paper 1 and 2 earlier but now want to appear only in any of the papers will not receive any refund of fees.
  • NTA will soon release the exam dates and shifts for JEE Main 2024 exam. NTA will conduct JEE Main exam in two sessions. Check JEE Main 2024 important dates here.
  • The first shift will be from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m., while the second shift will be from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m.
