NTA will release JEE Main City Allotment 2025 session 1 tentatively in the first week of January. JEE Main 2025 exam centre list has been released. NTA will conduct JEE Main 2025 in 300 cities in India and 26 cities abroad. The complete list of JEE Main exam centres can be checked here. Candidates had to fill in three choices of their preferred exam city while filling the JEE Main Application Form 2025.

JEE Main City Allotment 2025: NTA will release the JEE Main City Intimation Slip 2025 tentatively in the first week of January, 2025. The JEE Main exam city slip 2025 PDF will be available for download through candidate login on the JEE Main official website. Candidates need to use the JEE Mains 2025 login to download their JEE Main 2025 City Intimation slip. Details related to the JEE Main 2025 exam date and exam city allotted to the candidate are mentioned on the city intimation slip. JEE Main Advance city intimation is released separately for BArch/BPlan and BTech aspirants.

JEE Main 2025 exam centre can be checked here. NTA will conduct the JEE Main 2025 exam in 300 cities in India and 26 cities outside India. Candidates have to fill four choices of exam city while filling the JEE Main 2025 application form. NTA will allot one JEE Main exam centre 2025 out of the four choices filled by the candidate. At the time of filling the choices of exam cities, candidates will see only those cities which are nearby to the address provided by the candidates in the JEE Mains 2025 registration form.

Details about JEE Main 2025 exam centre allotted to the candidate will be mentioned in the admit card. Candidates are also allowed to change their choice of exam city before the release of JEE Main admit card 2025 however, the exam centre can not be changed after the release of the hall ticket.

Q:   What is JEE Main 2025 exam date?

A:

NTA has announced the JEE Main 2025 exam date session 1 and 2. The session 1 exam will be conducted from January 22 to 31, 2025 while the session 2 will be held from April 1 to 8, 2025. NTA has started JEE Main 2025 session 1 registration. JEE Main Application form 2025 session 1 is available on the website jeemain.nta.nic.in. 

Q:   When will NTA release JEE Main exam city intimation slip 2025?

A:

NTA will release the JEE Mains exam city slip 2025 session 1 in January, around a week before the exam. JEE Main City Intimation Slip 2025 will be available for download on the JEE Main official website jeemain.nta.nic.in. To download the JEE Mains exam city intimation slip, candidates need to login on the website using their application number and date of birth. The exam city slip will have details of city in which the test centre of candidate is located and the date of exam.

Q:   Where can I check JEE Main 2025 exam date?

A:

NTA has released the JEE Main 2025 dates on the official website jeemain.nta.ac.in. The session 1 exam will be conducted from January 22 to 31, 2025 while the session 2 exam date is April 1 to 8, 2025. The JEE Main 2025 application form session 1 has been released and the last date to apply is November 22, 2024. Candidates are advised to keep checking this page regularly for all updates related to JEE Main 2025 exam dates and schedule of other events related to the exam.

How to Check JEE Main 2025 Exam City Slip 

Candidates will be able to download their exam centre allotment slip from JEE Main 2024 login. Check the steps below for downloading the JEE Main exam city slip 

  • Open the official website jeemain.nta.nic.in

  • Click on JEE Main 2025 exam city slip download link

  • Login using application number and date of birth
  • JEE Main exam centre allotment slip will be displayed on screen
  • Download and take its printout

Q:   What is JEE Main 2025 exam date session 1?

A:

NTA has announced the JEE Main exam date 2025 session 1 and 2. The first session exam will be conducted from January 22 to 31, 2025 while the second session will be held from April 1 to 8, 2025. The JEE Main 2025 exam date for sessions 1 and 2 can be checked on the website jeemain.nta.nic.in.  

Q:   When will NTA release JEE Main exam city slip 2025?

A:

JEE Main city intimation slip 2025 will be available on the NTA official website jeemain.nta.ac.in a few days before the exam. JEE Mains City slip have details about the JEE Main exam city in which the candidate is allotted the centre to appear in the exam and the date of exam. It helps candidates to plan their travel to the JEE Main exam centre in advance. JEE Main city intimation slip is different from the admit card.

Q:   Are calculators allowed inside exam centre in JEE Main exam?

A:
Students are not allowed to carry calculators inside the exam centre in JEE Main exam. Students can use the virtual calculator available on the screen during the exam. Virtual calculators will be available on the computer screen of students during the JEE Main exam.

Q:   Will there be any break in JEE Main 2025 exam?

A:
The total duration of JEE Main exam is 3 hours and the exam is conducted continuous without any break. Candidates are allowed to enter the exam hall as per the scheduled time and can leave only after the completion of paper. The exam will have a total of 90 questions from 3 subjects, Physics Chemistry and Mathematics. Students have to answer 75 questions out of 90 in 3 hours without any break. Also, there is no separate time for subjects and students can appear any subject based on his/her choice.

Q:   What is JEE Main dress code?

A:

NTA has not specified any fixed dress code fo JEE Main exam. However, candidates are advised to wear light and comfortable clothes on the day of exam. Also, candidates are not allowed to wear any kind of jewellery. During the checking at exam centres, scarfs (dupatta) and cap are checked. So candidates should avoid wearing any thing which could result in problems.

  • Visit the official website of JEE Main 2025
  • While filling JEE Main 2025 application form, choose the exam centre of your preference.
  • Candidates will be allowed to select up to 4 test centres in order of preference.
  • NTA will allot test centres in order of the choice opted by candidates in their application form.

Documents required for JEE Main Test Centre 2025

  • A printed copy of JEE Main 2025 admit card downloaded from NTA’s website.
  • One passport size photograph (same as uploaded on the Online Application Form) for pasting on the specific space in the attendance sheet at Centre during JEE Main 2025.
  • Anyone of the authorized photo IDs (must be original, valid and non-expired) – PAN card/ Driving License/ Voter ID/ Passport/ Aadhaar Card (With photograph)/ Aadhaar Enrolment No/ Ration Card.
  • PWD certificate issued by the Competent Authority, if claiming the relaxation under PwD category.
