Students can complete JEE Main registration 2024 using PAN/Passport of ABC ID when facing problems in receiving OTP through Aadhar enrollment number. JEE Main OTP Problem: Students registering for the JEE Mains 2024 exam are facing problems in receiving the OTP on their mobile numbers. However, students are not receiving the OTP even after several attempts to complete the JEE Mains 2024 registration.

How to Fill Form when not receiving OTP?

The problem in not receiving the OTP is due to the heavy load in the NTA server. Students have to try filling the form in late hours or early morning to complete the registration process. Alternatively, they can wait for few days to fill JEE Main application form 2024. Students can also try filling the form using PAN, Passport or ABC ID.

This year's Joint Entrance Examination JEE Main 2024 set a new record with 12.3 Lacs aspirants for the January session, surpassing last year's cumulative (January and April) registration by nearly 68,000. Compared to the first session in 2023, there's an increase of 3.7 Lacs applicants.

Female participation in the first session has also shown improvement, as has the number of registrations from the third gender. Maharashtra maintains its lead among states, followed by Andhra Pradesh. Notably, the number of test-takers in English is on the rise, while Hindi registrations have declined.

Q:   What is JEE Mains 2024 registration date session 1?

A:

NTA has not announce the JEE Main 2024 form fill up date. However, it is expected that the application forms will be released in December. The tentative JEE Main 2024 application form date session 1 is December first week. JEE Main application form 2024 will be available online on the website jeemain.nta.nic.in 2024. Interested candidates will be able to apply from the official website. JEE Main 2024 registration last date will be last week of December or January first week. As the exam will be conducted in two sessions, NTA will release separate application forms for both the sessions.

Q:   I have mistakenly filled the wrong category in my JEE Main application form. Will my form be rejected?

A:

Candidates who mistakenly fill any details wrong can modify/correct the details during JEE Main application correction facility. NTA allows the candidate to make corrections after the last date of application process. To make corrections, candidates need to login on the JEE Main official website during the specified dates and  modify the details. In case candidate has entered wrong category, he/she may need to apy the application fee as per the new category. Other details like photo, signature, exam centre preference, paper choice, address can also be changed during the correction window.   

Q:   How can I check my status of JEE Main application form?

A:

When the application form is completely filled and submitted with fee payment, candidates receive the confirmation mail in their email address registered at the time of filling the form. Candidates can also check the status of their JEE Main application form by login to the official website jeemain.nta.nic.in. After login, the status of the application form will show "Application Submitted" if the form has been accepted by the NTA. In case the application form is incomplete, the status message will show the step to be completed to submit the application form.

Q:   What is JEE Mains 2025 Application form last date session 2?

A:

NTA has announced the JEE Main application form date 2025 session 2. The application form session 2 was released on February 1, 2025. The JEE Main 2025 application form session 2 last date is February 25, 2025. Interested candidates can fill JEE Main application form 2025 session 2 online from the website jeemain.nta.nic.in. JEE Main sesison 1 registration date was October 28, 2024 to November 22, 2024. 

  • Open JEE Main official website jeemain.nta.ac.in 2024
  • Click on NTA JEE Mains 2024 Registration link
  • Select the preferred method of registration among Aadhar Enrollment Number, Passport, PAN, or ABC ID
  • Fill the required details and create a login password of your choice
  • click on request for OTP button
  • Students will receive the OTP in their mobile number
  • Enter the OTP to complete registration process

After registration, students will receive the registration number in their mobile number. Students have to login using the registration number and password they created to fill the application form.

  • Fill the required details in application form
  • Upload scanned passport size photo, signature and category certificate (if applicable)
  • Pay JEE Mains form fees

JEE Main application form 2024 will be submitted automatically after the application fee is paid. Students should download and take a printout of the filled form.

What are the documents required for JEE Mains Application Form?

Students need to have the following documents to fill application form

  • Aadhar enrollment number/PAN/Passport/ABC ID
  • Class 10 and 12 certificates
  • Scanned image of photo, signature and category certificates (if applicable)
  • Credit/Debit card or internet banking details for payment of JEE Main registration fees

NTA released JEE Main Application Form 2024 on November 1. NTA JEE Mains 2024 Registration link is available at jeemain.nta.ac.in 2024. Candidates can fill the application form up to November 30. JEE Mains 2024 exam date January session is January 24 to February 1.
