The NTA has declared JEE Main paper 2 result 2024 for the session 2 exam on May 18. The paper 2 result of session 1 was released on March 6. JEE Main 2024 paper 2 result scorecard can be downloaded online from the official website jeemain.nta.nic.in. The result of JEE Main 2024 paper 2 has been compiled based on the final answer keys released by the NTA. Evaluation of multiple-choice questions of the BArch paper was carried out using final JEE Main answer keys and the actual marks obtained by candidates has been considered while preparing the JEE Main results. JEE Main 2024 Paper 2 Cutoff
The cutoff scores of JEE Main 2024 will be of two types – qualifying cutoff marks and admission cutoff marks. The NTA will release the qualifying JEE Main cutoff marks for all three papers along with the results. JoSAA will release the admission cutoff (opening and closing ranks) marks after the declaration of the result. The factors that determine JEE Main 2024 BArch cutoff are:

JEE Main eligibility criteria require candidates to fulfil multiple aspects to become eligible to appear for this national-level engineering entrance exam. The eligibility criteria for JEE Main 2024 candidates is as follows:
The eligibility criteria are decided by the Council of Architecture for admission to BArch. course other than NITs, IIITs, CFTIs: “No candidate shall be admitted to architecture course unless she/he has passed an examination at the end of the qualifying examination with 50% marks in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics and also 50% marks in aggregate of the qualifying examination”.
The number of attempts allowed in JEE Main - A candidate is allowed to attempt the exam for three consecutive years. JEE Main exam will be held twice a year- January and April. Thus, the number of attempts will be 6 in total – two times each year for 3 years.
In case an aspirant wants to take more attempts then he or she has to appear for JEE Main consecutively (back to back) in three years. This means one cannot take a gap year in the attempt.

JEE Main Paper 2 Admit Card 2024
The NTA has released JEE Main 2024 Paper 2 admit card online mode on the official website. JEE Main admit card was issued to all the candidates who filled the application form and paid the application fees for the exam within specified dates. The admit card is an important document that must be carried to the examination hall. Candidates who do not carry their admit cards are not allowed to appear for the entrance examination. Along with the admit card, candidates must also carry identity proof.

JEE Main Exam Centres 2024
NTA has released the list of JEE Main 2024 exam centres and city codes through the information brochure. In 2024, exam centres have been decreased from 501 to 300 cities in India. NTA will also conduct the exam in 26 cities abroad. Students have to enter their four preferred choices of exam city while filling the application form.
Candidates will be allotted a test city based on their choices filled in which the candidates have to appear for the exam. JEE Main 2024 Exam Day Guidelines
Below are some of the important items that the candidates should or should not carry to the JEE Main 2024 test centre. Also given are the documents that the candidates must bring to the examination centre without which they will not be allowed to appear in the exam.
What to carry on exam day?
The test-takers will be provided with a sheet for any rough work they do.

What not to carry on exam day?

- Candidates will not be allowed to leave the exam hall without the permission of the centre superintendent or the invigilator concerned.
- No candidate will be allowed to carry any eatables, tea or coffee into the examination room during exam hours.
- Smoking and eating are strictly prohibited in the examination room.
- Diabetic students will be allowed to carry eatables like sugar tablets/fruits and transparent water bottles. However, they will not be allowed to carry any packed foods like candy/chocolates/sandwiches.
JEE Main 2024 Paper 2 Question Papers
The NTA will release JEE Main Paper 2 question papers and answer keys after the completion of exam. Candidates will be able to download the JEE Main question papers which will be available in a pdf format and download their response sheets along from the official website. JEE Main 2024 Counselling
Joint Seat Allocation Authority (JoSAA) will conduct the counselling process of JEE Main 2024 for admission to NITs, IIITs, GFTIs. The counselling will be held in online mode only for seven rounds including two mock seat allotments.

To get computer related branch the last year cutoff rank was almost 1.3lakh. The cutoff vary differently every year so this is a rough idea. The cutoff depends upon the number of students appering, difficulty of question paper. You can't get most accurate numbers.
