Step 3: Filling the application form
- The application page has three tabs, basic, qualification/experience/language, and survey
- Under the basic tab, candidates need to enter the category, religion, nationality, and disability information
- Enter IBPS RRB exam centre with the correct state code
- Enter personal details such as gender, father’s name, mother’s name, etc
- Communication details such as correspondence address, permanent address with pin code, and state
- Under the qualification/experience/language tab, enter the details of graduation such as subject, type of degree, year of passing, and percentage obtained.

Step 5: Uploading Left Thumb Impression and Handwritten declaration
Before proceeding towards paying the application fees, candidates need to upload their left thumb impression and handwritten declaration in the following format.

Handwritten Declaration

Step 4: Fee Payment
Candidates have to pay the application fee through online mode through debit card, credit card, IMPS, net banking, cash cards/mobile wallets. The details of fee payment are given below.
- In case of debit card, they need to enter the card number, expiry date, and CVV number
- In case of credit card, enter card number and PIN
- If candidates choose net banking, then they need to enter the bank details asked
- For IMPS, add beneficiary by mentioning account details of the organization to which candidates desire to transfer the money
- If candidates wish to pay the fee through mobile wallets/cash cards, enter the login details asked
- After entering and verifying the details, click on the pay

IBPS RRB Application Form 2025: New Guidelines Related to Photo Upload
In addition to the scanned photograph, candidates are also required to capture and upload their photograph either by using webcam or their mobile phone. The guidelines for uploading photograph are given below:
- Applicants on selecting 'Capture Photo' option, webcam is activated allowing them to take their picture, which that will be auto uploaded in the application form
- On selecting the option 'Click here to Scan”, candidates can use their mobile phone to scan the QR code, which will redirect to a website, allowing to take photograph on their mobile phone
- On selecting the taken picture, photograph is auto uploaded in the IBPS RRB application form
Q: What should be the size of the photograph for IBPS RRB application form?
The dimensions and specifications related to the photograph for IBPS RRB application form are given below:
- Photograph must be a recent passport style colour picture
- Make sure that the picture is in colour, taken against a light-coloured, preferably white, background
- Look straight at the camera with a relaxed face
- If the picture is taken on a sunny day, have the sun behind you, or place yourself in the shade, so that you are not squinting and there are no harsh shadows
- If you have to use flash, ensure there's no "red-eye"
- If you wear glasses make sure that there are no reflections and your eyes can be clearly seen
- Caps, hats and dark glasses are not acceptable. Religious headwear is allowed but it must not cover your face.

The above-mentioned handwritten declaration has to be in the candidate’s handwriting and in English only.

IBPS RRB handwritten declaration is a text that candidates need to write in their own handwriting to declare that the details provided in the application form are correct and valid. The handwritten declaration should be written in English Language only. - Set the scanner resolution to a minimum of 200 dpi (dots per inch)
- Set Colour to True Colour

Q: What is IBPS RRB eligibility criteria?
IBPS RRB eligibility criteria is prescribed by the examination authority separately for different posts. The basic educational qualification for IBPS RRB exam is graduation. However, the educational qualification vary post-wise. The post-wise age limit for IBPS RRB exam is given below:
For Officer Scale- III (Senior Manager): Above 21 years-Below 40 years i.e. candidatesshould not have been born earlier than 03.06.1983 and later than 31.05.2002 (both dates inclusive)
For Officer Scale- II (Manager): Above 21 years - Below 32 years i.e. candidatesshould not have been born earlier than 03.06.1991 and later than 31.05.2002 (both dates inclusive)
For Officer Scale- I (Assistant Manager): Above 18 years - Below 30 years i.e. candidates should not have been born earlier than 03.06.1993 and later than 31.05.2005 (both dates inclusive)
For Office Assistant (Multipurpose): Between 18 years and 28 years i.e. candidates should not have been born earlier than 02.06.1995 and later than 01.06.2005 (both dates inclusive)
The upper age limit is relaxed for candidates belonging to reserved categories.
Q: How to select IBPS RRB exam centres while filling IBPS RRB application form?
The prelims exam of IBPS RRB is conducted at more than 170 cities while theMainsexam is conducted at more than 70 cities. The exam of IBPS RRB is conducted in various venues across many centres in India. No request for change of centre for examination is entertained. IBPS, however, reserves the right to cancel any of the Examination Centres and/ or add some other Centres, at its discretion, depending upon the response, administrative feasibility, etc. IBPS also reserves the right to allot the candidate to any centre other than the one he/she has opted for and a candidate may be allocated a centre of exam outside the State/UT for which vacancies he/she is applying. Candidate will appear for the examination at an Examination Centre at his/her own risk and expenses and IBPS will not be responsible for any injury or losses etc. of any nature. Any unruly behaviour/misbehaviour in the examination hall may result in cancellation of candidature/ disqualification from the exam and also from the future exams conducted by IBPS.
