IBPS RRB Selection Process 2024: Provisional Allotment
The provisional allotment in IBPS RRB exam is done in the following manner:
- On completion of the interview process or the mains exam, depending upon the number of IBPS RRB vacancies to be filled in as per the business needs, candidates shortlisted are provisionally allotted to any one of the RRBs based on the merit-cum-preference
- For Officers in Scale I and Office Assistant (Multipurpose), the provisional allotment is restricted within the RRBs of the state opted for as well as IBPS RRB cut off
- Candidates belonging to the reserved category selected on the basis of the norms as applicable to the General Category are treated at par with a General category candidate.
- Such own merit candidates belonging to reserved categories who are provisionally allotted under the unreserved (General) category are not adjusted against a reserved post. However, their original category entered in the online registration remains unchanged
- In the event where two or more candidates obtains the same score, the merit order is decided as per the date of birth
- The provisional allotment is subject to the candidates fulfilling the criteria of RRBs and identity verification
