IBPS RRB Vacancy 2024: The Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS) increased IBPS RRB vacancy 2024 for the second time. The vacancies were increased to 10313. Earlier, the revised vacancies were 10,181. Initially, a total of 9995 vacancies were announced forIBPS RRB 2024 exam. Out of the total vacancies, a total of 5800 vacancies are for IBPS RRB Clerk posts. A total of 3583 vacancies are announced for IBPS RRB PO posts.
The vacancies are announced post-wise and category-wise for 43 participating banks. The number of IBPS RRB vacancies announced in 2023 was 8860. Selection of candidates is done based on the vacancies as well as the business of the participating banks. Final allotment of candidates is done based on the merit-cum-preference.Â
IBPS RRB exam is conducted to select candidates for the post of Officers Scale I, II, III, and Office Assistant (Multipurpose). The selection process of Officers Scale I comprises prelims, mains and interview. The selection process of Office Assistant comprises prelims and mains exams. Officers Scale II and III selection process comprises single-online exam and interview.
