ICG Navik Result 2025: Indian Coast Guard (ICG) announced ICG Navik result 2025 for for Stage 1 exam for 01/2025 batch. Candidates can access their results online by logging with the email ID and password. Based on the result of Indian Coast Guard, candidates are selected for the next round of the selection process. Along with the Indian Coast Guard Navik result 2025, the cut off marks were released.

Q:   How many days will it take to get the result of Coast Guard?

A:

The result of the Indian Coast Guard Assistant Commandant Stage I exam is announced tentatively within 30 days. The result is announced online. Candidates can access their results online by logging with the email ID and password. Based on the result, candidates are selected for the next round of selection process. Selected candidates are required to upload additional documents to appear in the next stage of the selection process. Along with the Indian Coast Guard Navik result, the cut off marks are also released.

Q:   How is the Indian Coast Guard merit list prepared?

A:

Recommendation in FSB does not confirm final selection. A merit list is prepared for the medically fit candidates on the basis of marks obtained by the candidates at Stage-I  (Screening test) and Stage-III (FSB) depending upon the availability of vacancies. The number of vacancies may vary from branch to branch and it is decided at a later date depending on the number of training vacancies available at training establishments. The list of candidates selected on the basis of merit list is uploaded on Coast Guard recruitment website. The joining letters are issued accordingly.

Q:   What is Indian Coast Guard selection process for Navik?

A:

The selection of candidate is based on an all India order of merit based on their performance in Stage-I, II, III & IV and meeting the laid down medical standards during medical examination and the number of vacancies available for the post. Clearing of Stage-I, II, III, IV and satisfactory performance in training is compulsory for recruitment in ICG. All candidates will be compulsorily subjected to identity check prior commencement of the examination of Stage- I, II, III of CGEPT.

A:

Indian Coast Guard age limit for Navik General Duty is 18 to 22 years. 5 years relaxation is given to SC/ST candidates,  if the posts are reserved for them and 3 Years for OBC, if the posts are reserved for them. EWS candidates will not get any age relaxation. Even if there is no vacancy reserved for SC / ST / OBC (Non - Creamy) / EWS category candidates, such candidates can still apply. However, they will not be eligible for any age and passing marks concession / relaxation etc. SC / ST candidates are exempt from payment of application fee even in such case.
