ICG Navik notification 2025 was released on June 13, 2024. The application form was released along with the notification. The notification was released in PDF form and comprises the important details related to the exam. Only online applications are invited from male Indian citizens. Candidates who have passed Class 12 with Maths and Physics from an education board recognised by Council of Boards for School Education (COBSE) can apply for the exam.

Indian Coast Guard age limit for Navik General Duty is 18 to 22 years. 5 years relaxation is given to SC/ST candidates, if the posts are reserved for them and 3 Years for OBC, if the posts are reserved for them. EWS candidates will not get any age relaxation. Even if there is no vacancy reserved for SC / ST / OBC (Non - Creamy) / EWS category candidates, such candidates can still apply. However, they will not be eligible for any age and passing marks concession / relaxation etc. SC / ST candidates are exempt from payment of application fee even in such case.

Indian Coast Guard Navik Eligibility Criteria 2025
The eligibility criteria in terms of educational qualification and age limit is given below:
Navik (General Duty): Candidates must have passed Class 12 with Maths and Physics from an education board recognized by Council of Boards for School Education (COBSE).
Navik (Domestic Branch): Passed Class 10 from an education board recognized by Council of Boards for School Education (COBSE).
Age limit: The age of candidates should be between 18 and 22 years.
