Indian Coast Guard Exam Pattern 2023
The exam pattern is such that it is divided into four stages-I, II, III & IV. The computer based test which is Stage I comprises section I, III, IV and V. Section I is common for Yantrik (Electrical), Yantrik (Electronics), and Yantrik (Mechanical). Section III, IV and V is specific to the discipline/trade. The Yantrik (Electrical) post carries sections-I and III, Yantrik (Electronics) carries sections-I and IV, Yantrik (Mechanical) carries sections-I and V. The Section I carries 60 marks while Section III, IV and V carries 50 marks. The Stage II is Physical Fitness Test, Initial Document Verification and Initial Medical Exam. Stage III is document verification, final medicals at INS Chilka and Submission of original document, police verification and other associated forms. Stage IV includes the training of selected cadres.
