KTET Application Form 2024: Apply Online Link, Correction & Last Date

The steps to apply online for the KTET exam are given below:

• Go to the official website: ktet.kerala.gov.in
• Click on the link available for registration
• Click on the 'New Registration' link
• Read the instructions and click on the three checkboxes

• Fill all details in the KTET registration form
• Upload scanned photo in JPG format as per the specifications

The KTET application form 2024 was released on November 11, 2024. The last date for the KTET application form was November 25, 2024. The minimum qualifying marks for the KTET exam are as follows:

• For General and OBC candidates: 60 per cent marks (90 marks out of 150)
• For SC/ST candidates: 55 per cent marks (82 marks out of 150)

 Candidates who score equal to or more than the minimum qualifying marks are considered to have qualified the KTET exam. It is important to note that the qualifying marks are the minimum marks required to pass the exam and do not guarantee selection for a teaching job. Candidates who qualify the KTET exam are eligible to apply for teaching jobs in primary and upper primary schools in the state of Kerala, subject to fulfilling other eligibility criteria mentioned in the recruitment notification.

The Kerala teaching Eligibility Test (KTET) application fees varies according to the category of the candidate. The category wise application fee for the KTET exam are given below:

• General/Unreserved: INR 500
• SC/ST/PwD/Ex-Serviceman: INR 250

The marking scheme of KTET exam is as follows: - The KTET 2024 exam consists of multiple-choice questions, where each question carries one mark. - There is no negative marking for incorrect answers, which means that candidates do not lose marks for wrong answers. - The KTET exam has a total of 150 questions, and the maximum marks that can be scored are 150.

To qualify the KTET 2024 exam, candidates need to score a minimum of 60 per cent marks, which means that they need to score at least 90 marks out of 150. However, the content of the papers is different, and candidates need to appear for the paper that is relevant to their desired teaching level.
