SSC JE Exam Date 2024 (Out): Check Tier 2 Exam Schedule

Staff Selection Commission SSC has announced the exam date of the Paper 2 of Junior Engineer (Civil, Mechanical, Electrical and Quantity Surveying & Contracts) Examination, 2024. The SSC JE Paper 2 will be held on November 6, 2024. 

The last date to apply for the SSC JE exam is April 18, 2024. The Staff Selection Commission released the JE application 2024 on March 28, 2024. The Commission provided 21 days to the candidates for filling out the SSC JE applications. After the closing of the application window, the application correction window will be activated on April 22 & 23, 2024. The Commission will not extend the application date for the year 2024 after April 18, 2024.

The authority will release the SSC JE 2024 Tier 2 admit card on the official website soon. SSC JE admit card for Tier 1 was released on May 25, 2024. The SSC JE admit cards will be released by the regional websites and the candidates will be required to download their admit card from their respective region. To download the JE admit card, candidates need to enter registration number/roll number and date of birth. The admit cards are mandatory to be carried to the JE exam centres. The candidates can download the admit card by following the steps given below:

• Click on the respective regional website link
• Enter the required login credentials such as:
  • Roll number/registered ID OR name/father's name
  • Date of birth
• Verify the given equation
• Click on the Submit button
• View, download and print the admit card

The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) releases the SSC JE answer jey in two phases: i) Tentative Answer Key and ii) Final Answer Key. The SSC JE 2024 Final answer key for Paper 1 was released on August 22. The steps to download the SSC JE admit card are given below:Visit the official website of SSC.

• Click on the answer key link.
• Select the exam from the drop-down menu.
• Click on the Click here link.
• Enter the below-mentioned credentials:
  • User ID/exam roll number
  • Password
• Click on Login.
• Check and download the SSC JE Answer key 

SSC JE result is announced on the official website ssc.nic.in. Staff Selection Commission conducted Junior Engineer (Civil, Mechanical & Electrical) Examination, 2024 (Paper-I) in the Computer Based Mode from June 5 to 7, 2024 at various examination centres across the country.

SSC JE exam is conducted in two modes- i) Computer Based Test and ii) Conventional Mode. The details of these modes have been given below for the candidates:

Computer Based Test (CBT) Mode:

The SSC JE Paper 1 (Objective Type) exam is conducted in CBT mode. Candidates have to answer multiple choice questions using a mouse or a touch screen. 

Conventional Paper-Pen Mode: 

SSC JE Paper 2 (Convntional Type) exam is conducted in offline pen paper mode. Candidates have to write down answers on the question sheet provided. The mode of Paper 2 also depends upon the specific job profile.

To conclude, SSC JE Paper 1 is conducted in online mode (CBT) whereas Paper 2 can be either in CBT or conventional paper-pen mode depending on the specific post/subject.

The notification was released to recruit Junior Engineers in different Departments under Government. The notification was released in the PDF format that comprises the details like application date, application correction date, application fee, eligibility, number of vacancies & more.
