The scorecard contains the following details: 

• Candidate's name

The preliminary exam is qualifying in nature and serves as a screening test. Only those candidates who score sufficiently high marks in individual tests and in the aggregate are shortlisted for the mains exam. Candidates are called for the mains exam in the ratio 1:25 based on the cut off marks. Total marks allotted to the mains exam are 120. 

The marks obtained in the mains exam will be considered for final selection. Like the prelims exam, candidates are also required to secure equal to or more than the cut off marks in the mains exam. 

Candidates qualifying the mains exam are required to appear for the LPT. Candidates who have produced their Class 10 and 12 marksheets which mentions that they have studied the specified official language are not required to appear in the test. In the case of others, LPT will be conducted at respective Regional Offices. Candidates not found to be proficient in the official local language will be disqualified. LPT is qualifying in nature.

The final selection will be based on the candidate's performance in the mains exam provided they qualify the LPT in the order of merit and biometric verification. The appointment of candidates is subject to verification of eligibility and medical fitness. 

• In case of candidates securing equal marks in the exam, the ties will be resolved in the following manner:
• The candidate with higher educational qualification (undergraduate qualifications only) or
• In case of similar qualifications, the candidates with higher marks in Class 12 and Class 10th will be ranked higher.
• In case of further ties, candidates senior in age will be placed in a higher rank. 

A waitlist of up to 50% of vacancies both state-wise and category-wise or subject to a minimum of three will be maintained. Candidates will be considered from the waitlist if anyone does not join from the select list. The waitlist is valid for a period of one year from the date of declaration of NABARD result 2020.
