RBI Assistant Cutoff 2024: Reserve Bank of India (RBI) will release RBI Assistant 2024 cut off for prelims and mains exams. The examination authority will release the category-wise and state-wise cut offs of RBI Assistant 2024 along with the scorecard. within 15 days after the exam is conducted. Only those candidates are declared qualified in the RBI Assistant who secure equal to or more than the cut off marks. RBI Assistant cut off is applied on section-wise marks and total scores. The prelims cut off is considered to select candidates for the mains exam. For final selection, the RBI Assistant mains cut off is only considered. Q: Â When is the RBI Assistant cutoff released?
RBI Assistant cut off is the minimum qualifying marks that candidates need to secure inorder to qualify the exam and become eligible for the next round of selection process. RBI Assistant cut off is released within a fortnight after the declaration of the result. The cut off is declared in PDF form and comprises the section-wise and overall cut off marks. Candidates securing equal to or more than the cut off marks are called for the next round of selection process. The cut off is calculated based on various factors such as number of vacancies, level of competition and number of test takes.

RBI Assistant Prelims Cut offÂ
The cutoff for RBI Assistant prelims is calculated out of 100 marks. RBI declares RBI Assisant pre cutoff for English Language, Numerical Ability, and Reasoning Ability. Each question in the test is for one mark. There is also negative marking for wrong answers, ¼ marks are deducted as a penalty. RBI Assistant cutoff prelims is calculated after normalizing the marks of candidates. RBI office assistant cutoff marks for prelims exam are not counted for the final merit list.Â
RBI Assistant Mains Cut offÂ
RBI Assistant mains cutoff is calculated out of 200. The mains exam is conducted for the qualified candidates of the prelims exam. The test comprises five sections. The total marks allotted to the test are 200. RBI Assistant mains cut off is calculated after normalizing the marks of candidates. The cutoff marks for the mains exam is considered for preparing the final RBI Assistant result. On the basis of RBI Assistant cutoff for the mains exam, candidates are shortlisted for Language Proficiency Test (LPT).Â

RBI Assistant final cutoff is calculated based on the mains exam subject to candidates qualifying the Language proficiency test. Based on the RBI Assistant final result cutoff, candidates are selected for appointment.Â

RBI Assistant cut off is high because the competition is very high compared to other exams. The vacancy is also low compared to the number of applicants who apply for the exam. Moreover, there is no interview in RBI Assistant exam. In order to shortlist the candidates the cut off is fixed at a maximum. The exam level of RBI Assistant is easy to moderate. So with a good practice level, the candidate can score above the cut off marks.

The Reserve Bank of India (RBI) Assistant exam is a highly competitive examination, and the RBI Assistant cut off marks vary each year depending on factors such as the number of applicants, the difficult of the exam, and the number of vacancies. However, generally, the cut-off marks for the preliminary round is usually around 70-80 marks out of a total of 100 marks. The cut-off marks for the main round is usually around 130-140 marks out of a total of 200 marks. RBI Assistant cut off marks are calculated out of normalisation. Normalisation of cut off marks is done to adjust the difficult level of question papers across various sessions. The cutoff marks are decided based on the normalised score.
