Q:   How is the RBI Grade B final merit list prepared?

The Phase I marks of candidates are not considered for RBI Grade B final selection for General Post. The Phase 1 exam serves as screening test. Only the marks obtained in the phase 2 and interview are considered for the final merit list. Candidates qualifying the Mains exam and interview are selected for appointment to the post of RBI Grade B Officers. Phase-I exam for General post comprise questions from General Awareness, Reasoning, English Language, and Quantitative Aptitude. The total marks allotted to the test are 200. The Phase 2 exam comprises three papers. Total marks allotted to Phase-II exam for General post are 300 marks. The interview carries 75 marks.

How scores are calculated for RBI Exams?

The candidates can calculate the marks for the RBI exam through the answer keys by following the steps given below:

  • The number of questions marked correctly in the exam is considered for arriving at the corrected scores after applying a penalty for wrong answers

Q:   What is RBI Assistant marking scheme?

A:
RBI Assistant marking scheme is prescribed by the examination authority. The scores of candidates are calculated as per the marking scheme. RBI Assistant marking scheme is given below: For every correct answer, candidates score one mark For every wrong answer, 0.25 marks are deducted. For example: candidates have answered 25 questions in Reasoning and 20 answers are correct and five answers are incorrect. The score of candidates will be 20x1-5=15. There is no weightage for LPT. Candidates must be able to speak, write and understand the local language of the state they have applied for. Q:   What is RBI Assistant selection process?

The selection process includes preliminary and Mains exams followed by a Language Proficiency Test (LPT). The prelims exam is divided into three sections English Language, Numerical Ability and Reasoning Ability. The total marks allotted to the test are 100. The total duration of the preliminary exam is 60 minutes. The Mains exam carries questions from Test of Reasoning, Test of English Language, Test of Numerical Ability, Test of General Awareness and Test of Computer Knowledge. The total marks allotted to the test are 200. The marks of the Mains exam are taken into consideration for the final merit list. Candidates qualifying the Mains exam are called for LPT. The marks obtained in the prelims exam are not counted for the final merit list. The prelims exam serves as a screening test for the mains exam.

Stages of RBI Result 2024

RBI Result 2024 for Prelims/Phase I

RBI Result 2024 for Mains/Phase II
