RBI Vacancies 2023: The Reserve Bank of India (RBI) every year releases vacancies to fill up various posts such as Assistant, Officers Grade B, etc. in the esteemed central bank. Q:   When RBI Grade B application form 2024 was released?

A:

RBI Grade B application form 2024 was released on July 25, 2024. The last date to fill the application form was August 16, 2024. RBI Grade B apply online link is provided on this page. RBI Grade B application form comprises steps such as registration, uploading the scanned photograph and signature, filling the detailed online form, previewing the application form, uploading the scanned left thumb impression and handwritten declaration, paying the application fees, and taking printout of the application form. Any graduate candidate who are between 21 to 30 years can apply for the exam.

All candidates working in Government Sector, Government owned industrial undertakings,  Public Sector Undertakings / Financial Institutions/Banks, Public Enterprises or other similar organizations, whether in a permanent or temporary capacity or as work-charged employees other than casual or daily rated employees, are required to inform their employer (Head of Office/Department) in writing, about applying for this recruitment. Prior to the submission of their application online to the bank. At the time of applying online, candidates working in such organisations, are required to submit an undertaking that they have informed in writing about applying for this recruitment to their Head of Office/Department. Candidates should note that in case a communication is received at Bank from their employer, withholding permission to the candidate applying for this recruitment/ appearing at the examination, their application/candidature will be liable to be rejected/ cancelled.

Must be a citizen of India. Must be a subject of Nepal. Must be a subject of Bhutan. Must be a Tibetan refugee who came to India before 1st January 1962, who has the intention of settling permanently in India. A person of Indian origin migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka, East African countries like Kenya, the United Republic of Tanzania (formerly Tanganyika and Zanzibar), Uganda, Zambia, Malawi, Zaire, Ethiopia and Vietnam with the intention of permanently settling in India Age Criteria: RBI has defined minimum age criteria for appearing in the RBI Officer (Grade B) examination. Age Relaxation: Candidates, who belong to the reserved category will be provided relaxation in their upper age as per the rules decided by the Board. The selection process comprises prelims and mains exams followed by a language proficiency test (LPT).

RBI Grade B

The selection process of RBI Grade B includes Phase I, II, and Interview. Those who will qualify the Phase I exam will be called for Phase II. On the basis of the performance of candidates, they will be called for an Interview. The final selection of candidates is done based on their performance in Phase II and Interview.
