RBI Application Form 2024: The RBI Grade B application 2024 was available from July 25 to August 16, 2024. The application fee for RBI Grade B is INR 850 (+18 per cent GST) for General and OBC candidates, while it is INR 100 (+18 per cent GST) for SC/ST/PwBD categories. The RBI Assistant 2024 application form will be released soon. The application fee for RBI Assistant is INR 450 for OBC, General and EWS categories while it is INR 50 for SC, ST, PWD, and EXS candidates. The Reserve Bank of India (RBI) invites the online application form for recruitment exams including RBI Grade B and RBI Assistant. Interested candidates need to fill out the application form on the official website. The application fees can be paid online. 

Q:   How can I fill RBI Grade B application form?

A: 

RBI Grade B application form needs to be filled online only. Candidates should not submit RBI Grade B application form offline. Candidates are not required to submit the hard copy of the application form. The application process comprises various steps such as registration, uploading the scanned photograph and signature, filling the detailed online form, previewing the application form, uploading the scanned left thumb impression and handwritten declaration, paying the application fees and take printout of the application form. The steps to fill RBI Grade B application form are given below:

  •  Visit the official website of RBI
  • Click on the RBI Grade B registration link to register for the exam
  • Candidates need to enter the required details in the registration form
  •  After successful registration, registration ID and password are generated
  • In the detailed application form, candidates need to enter basic details, personal details, educational qualification, communication details, choose exam centres, etc.
  •  After entering the details, candidates should preview the application form and submit it
  • Candidates should upload the handwritten declaration and left thumb impression
  • They should pay the application fees and submit it

Q:   Do I need to send the hard copy of the application form to RBI?

A: 

No, candidates are not required to send the hard copy of the application form to RBI. However, candidates should take the printout of the application form and fee payment receipt. Candidates should keep the documents safe till the completion of the recruitment process. Candidates should apply online only. The application process comprises several steps which candidates needs to complete successfully. The admit card is issued to candidates who successfully fills the application form. RBI Assistant application process comprises registration, uploading of photograph and signature, filling the detailed application form, uploading of left thumb impression and handwritten declaration and payment of application fees.

RBI Applications Pre Requisites 2024

The candidates who wish to apply for the RBI exam must go through the prerequisites of the RBI applications. The prerequisites will help the candidates to know about the documents that are required for the RBI applications. The prerequisites have been given below for the candidates:

How to fill RBI Application Form 2024?

The steps to fill out the application form for RBI are given below.

Step 1: RBI Registration

  • Visit the official website of the RBI
  • Click the 'New Registration' link available on the home page
  • In the registration form, candidates need to enter their name, mobile number, email ID
  • Upon successful registration, candidates are provided with the provisional registration number and password

Step 2: Uploading of photograph and signature

Candidates need to upload their photographs and signatures as per the format given below.

Dimensions should be 200 x 230 pixels

Dimensions should be 140 x 60 pixels

The size of the file should be between 20KB-50 KB

The size of the file should be between 10 KB-20 KB

Step 3: Filling out the detailed application form

Candidates will have to enter their educational qualifications, domicile, category, nationality, state, select exam centres, etc.

Step 4: Preview & Final Submission

Before final submission, candidates should preview the application form. They are advised to make the necessary corrections if any while previewing the application form. The examination authority will not entertain any further changes after the final submission of the application form.

Step 5: Pay the application fees

The application fees can be paid online by using debit cards, credit cards, internet banking, IMPS, and cash cards/mobile wallets. On successful transactions, an e-receipt will be generated.

Note: Candidates should take the printout of the application form and keep it till the completion of the exam.

RBI Application 2024: Hand Written Declaration

While filling out the application form for the RBI Assistant or RBI Grade B exam the candidates have to upload the handwritten declaration. It has been observed that the candidates make mistakes while writing the declaration letter. To help the candidates we have provided the format for the RBI handwritten declaration below:

RBI Application 2024: Reasons for Rejection

Candidates' application forms get rejected after the successful submission of the RBI exam applications on the official website. The most common reasons for the rejection of application have been given below for the candidates:

  • The candidate's application is rejected in case of an unclear/smudged handwritten declaration
  • In case the candidate has uploaded an unclear photo or signature, the application is rejected 
  • Candidates are advised to check their photo, signature, and handwritten declaration after the upload. If they found it unclear or smudged, it should be changed while filling out the application form
