RPF Constable 2022 Exam Pattern: Computer-Based test (CBT)

CBT is the first stage of the RPF constable selection process. The exam will be held for all the candidates who are going to apply. This exam will be conducted simultaneously for all the groups across the country. Find the salient features of RPF constable CBT below:

The question paper will be made available in Hindi and English along with in different regional languages, Urdu, Tamil, Telugu, Konkani, Malayalam, Kannada, Marathi, Gujarati, Bengali, Odia, Assamese, Manipuri and Punjabi
The level of the exam will be secondary or matric level, questions will be framed following RPF constable syllabus
All questions are compulsory in the paper, candidates will be awarded 1 mark for each right answer
A negative marking policy is followed in CBT; 1/3 marks shall be deducted for every wrong answer

Composite time for RPF Constable CBT is 90 minutes. There is no sectional timing.

RPF Constable 2022 Exam Pattern: PET & PMT

All the successful candidates in CBT will be called for PET and PMT. As per recruitment policy, candidates 10 times the number of vacancies will be called for PET and PMT. PET is qualifying in nature but candidates have to qualify all the sections. RPF constable PET standards are given below:

PMT Standards:

Candidates need to meet the physical standards prescribed by the RPF constable recruitment board. While filling out the RPF Constable application, candidates must check these parameters. Find the PMT standards below:

Note: Ex-servicemen are exempted from PET, however, they will have to undergo PMT.

RPF Constable 2022 Exam Pattern: Document Verification

Candidates who clear all the stages will be called for the document verification at the regional headquarters of Railways or any other office as specified in the DV admit card.

RPF Constable Document Verification

Based on the performance of candidates in the CBT and subject to qualifying in PET & PMT, they are called for document verification. Candidates who do not appear for Document Verification are not considered for the final selection, irrespective of their performance in the written examination and PET/PMT. Appointment of selected candidates is subject to their passing requisite Medical Fitness Test, final verification of educational and category certificates, verification of character and antecedents of the candidates from the local administration and successful completion of initial training.
