Q: Who all are not eligible for SBI Clerk exam?
Candidates against whom there is/ are adverse report regarding character & antecedents, moral turpitude etc. are not eligible to apply for the post. Candidates who have defaulted in repayment under any lending arrangement with Banks or NBFCs including credit card dues and have not regularized / repaid their outstanding thereunder till the date of issuance of letter of offer of appointment by the Bank, are not eligible for appointment to the post. However, candidates who have regularised/repaid such outstanding on or before the date of issuance of offer of appointment but whose CIBIL status has not been updated till then on or before the date of joining, have to either get the CIBIL status updated or produce the NOCs from the lender to the effect that there is no outstanding with respect to the accounts adversely reflected in the CIBIL, failing which the letter of offer shall be withdrawn/ cancelled.
Q: What is SBI Clerk eligibility criteria?
To be eligible for SBI Clerk exam, candidates should be between 20 and 28 years and have completed graduation in any discipline. Candidates who are in the final year of graduation can also apply for the exam provisionally. Relaxation in the upper age limit is given to candidates belonging to reserved categories. Candidates should check the SBI Clerk eligibility criteria before applying for the exam. The category-wise relaxation given to candidates is given below.

Q: I am working in SBI. Can I apply for SBI Clerk exam?
Candidates who are working in SBI in the Clerical cadre are not eligible to apply under this project. Candidates who were earlier employed in State Bank of India and resigned from the Bank while in clerical cadre will also be not eligible to apply for the post. Only online applications are accepted for the exam.
