The Staff Selection Commission has released the revised SSC CHSL 2024 vacancies on its official website - ssc.gov.in. The Commission increased the number of SSC CHSL vacancies from 3,712 to 3,954. The candidates should note that due to this increase, the SSC CHSL cutoff 2024 will be reduced and more candidates will be selected for the next phase of the examination. The SSC CHSL Tier 2 exam was conducted on November 18, 2024. The Commission will release the cutoff with the SSC CHSL result 2024.
The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) released 3,712 SSC CHSL 2024 vacancies in the original notification. The Commission conducted the SSC CHSL exam 2024 from July 1 to 11, 2024, at the designated exam centres. The candidates should note that there were over 20 lakh candidates who appeared in the SSC CHSL 2024. The Commission conducted the exam on various days in multiple shifts. The Commission will carry out the Normalisation before declaring the SSC CHSL result 2024.

SSC CHSL Vacancies 2021

SSC CHSL vacancies 2021-22 released were 6,072 which is around 1.5 times of previous notification. The Commission released the post-wise vacancies separately under the candidate's corner. SSC CHSL 2021 exam (Tier-1) was conducted across the nation from May 24 to June 10, 2023 and for Tier-2 was conducted on September 18, 2023. The commission released the number of vacancies with the SSC CHSL result 2023 as done for the SSC CGL exam. SSC CHSL final answer key was released on August 11. The Commission released the SSC CHSL scorecard on August 11, 2023.

SSC CHSL Vacancies 2020
SSC CHSL vacancies were released in tentative numbers and they will be revised later (before the result). In the previous notification, the number of tentative vacancies were 4,726. Out of this, 1,538 vacancies have been released for Lower Divisional Clerk (LDC)/Junior Secretariat Assistant (JSA), 3,181 vacancies were released for Postal Assistant (PA)/ Sorting Assistant (SA) and seven vacancies have been released for Data Entry Operator (DEO).

The final vacancy list is prepared post-wise and category-wise. The Commission does not play any role in fixing the number of vacancies or implementation of reservation policy or earmarking vacancies for different categories.
