SSC CPO exam pattern is such that it comprises Paper-I, Physical Standard Test (PST)/ Physical Endurance Test (PET), Paper-II, and Detailed Medical Examination (DME). The normalisation of SSC CPO marks is done since the exam is conducted in multiple shifts in order to take into account any variation in the difficulty levels of question papers across different shifts. Calculation of marks is done up to five decimal places. The normalisation of marks is done by the examination authority inorder to adjust the difficulty level of the question paper. Based on the normalised marks, the result is announced. The commission follows the normalisation process to maintain transparency.

SSC CPO Cut Off 2024: Staff Selection Commission (SSC) released SSC CPO cut off for Paper 1 on September 2, 2024. The cut off was released category-wise along with SSC CPO result. SSC CPO cut off is the minimum qualifying marks that the candidates need to score to get shortlisted for PET/PST. The cut off marks was made available in PDF form for different categories and posts. The minimum qualifying marks prescribed for SSC CPO Paper-I for UR is 30 per cent, for OBC/EWS it is 25 per cent and for all the other categories it is 20 per cent.
