Q: Which is better RRB JE or SSC JE?
Both jobs are for government junior engineer posts. The pay level for both jobs are similar.
- The RRB JE works for the ministry of railways, and the SSC JE works for various organizations such as BRO.
- If you are posted near your city in RRB JE you have a better chance of staying in your hometown.
- The transfer policy of SSC JE is better than that of RRB as you have a high chance of getting a favorable posting.
- Also, SSC JE will have more powers than RRB JE due to the nature of their work.
- You will get promoted comparatively earlier than RRB JE.
Therefore, the SSC JE has a better career than the RRB JE. 6. Also, RRB JE is a group C job, whereas SSC JE is a group B post. Hence, it could be said that SSC JE is better than RRB JE
Q: Is SSC JE Grade A or Grade B post?
The SSC JE (Junior Engineer) examination conducted by the Staff Selection Commission is for the recruitment of junior engineers in various government departments and organizations. The posts offered through the SSC JE exam are generally classified as Group-B (Non-Gazetted) posts.
To be more specific, the SSC JE posts are considered as Group-B (Non-Gazetted), Non-Ministerial posts. The selected candidates are appointed as junior engineers in different engineering disciplines such as Civil Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, and Quantity Surveying and Contract.
It's worth noting that the SSC JE posts are not categorized as Grade A or Grade B. The grade system is typically used for categorizing posts in other examinations or job profiles. In the case of the SSC JE exam, the posts fall under Group-B (Non-Gazetted) classification.
Q: Who releases the SSC JE vacancies?
The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) is responsible for releasing the number of vacancies for the SSC JE exam. SSC is also responsible for the other stages of the exam like application process, conducting the exam, publishing result, document verification, and appointmnt of the candidates into various departments.
Initially known as the Subordinate Services Commission, the SSC was established on July 1, 1976, with the main purpose of conducting zonal recruitment for non-technical Group C posts under the Central Government, with the exception of those for which the Railway Service Commission (later RRB) and industrial establishments conducted recruitment. The Staff Selection Commission now handles recruiting for Group B posts under the Central Government as part of its ongoing expansion of duties. The Commission therefore hires for the bulk of the Central Government's workforce. This sector is the most important component of the government apparatus; the positions it fills are those at the entry level that deal with public relations and interface with implementation of Government policies.
Q: What are the total number of vacancies released for SSC JE exam?
The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) releases roughly 1000 vacancies every year. However, the number of vacancies differs every year according to the need of the departments under Government of India. The canidates can check the SSC JE year wise vacancies below:
