UPPSC PCS 2024 Exam Centres - Check District-wise Test Centres List

The Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission allots the UPPSC prelims exam centre based on the centres choice made by the candidates. The candidates are required to choose the UPPSC exam centre in the UPPSC PCS application form. The Commission allots the UPPCS exam centre on the first apply first allot basis.

Last year, the UPPSC PCS prelims exam was conducted in 51 districts. Earlier the UPPSC prelims exam was conducted in around 25 cities in the state. 

The UPPSC 2024 prelims exam will be conducted on December 7 & 8, 2024. The Commission is expected to release the UPPSC 2024 admit card on November 27, 2024 in its official website - uppsc.up.nic.in.

The Commission conduct the exam in 51 districts across the state but there are 76 disctricts in the state. Hence some candidates face the problem of travelling to the nearest exam centre from their place of residence.

For the main exam, there are only three cities where the exam is conducted. The UPPSC main exam is conducted in three districts namely - Prayagraj, Lucknow and Ghaziabad.

The UPPSC Prelims exam will be conducted in two shifts and the candidates will be required to sit for four hours in the examination hall. Hence we suggest that the candidates to wear comfortable and neat clothes that can help them to sit for long hours.

The candidates should avoid wearing any jewellery or metal objects that might hinder with their speed of marking their answers in the answer sheet.

The applicants are suggested to carry the UPPSC admit card along with two photographs and a valid photo ID proof such as \

• Adhar Card
• Driving license
• Passport
• Pan Card
• Voter Identity Card (Voter ID Card/EPIC)

or any of the ID cards issued by the central/state government. These documents are very important for verification and access in the examination centre.

The candidates should note that the UPPSC PCS main exam is conducted in three exam centres only. These exam centres are

• Lucknow
• Prayagraj (Allahabad)
• Ghaziabad

Candidates can choose their exam center for the UPPSC main exam and can easily get such exam centre.
