APRCET exam pattern 2024 is such that candidates are asked to attempt 180 questions in three hours duration. The official schedule for the state-level entrance exam has not been released yet. The APRCET exam was held from May 2 to May 5, 2024.

APRCET 2024 Entrance Exam Pattern: Important things to remember

  • The questions in the exam will be Multiple Choice Questions (MCQ)
  • The duration of the APRCET entrance exam will be of 180 minutes.
  • One mark will be awarded for each question correctly answered and 1/6 marks will be deducted for every incorrect answer.
  • The entrance exam will contain two sections – Part-A and Part-B
  • Part-A consists of – Teaching and Research Aptitude, which will be 90 marks.
  • Part-B consists of – Subject-Specific which will be 90 marks
  • Part-A, Teaching and Research Aptitude will be asked based on UGC NET Paper-I syllabus.
  • Candidate has to acquire a minimum of 50 per cent (General) and 45 per cent (SC/ST/PWD) to qualify for the next round – Oral Interview.

APRCET Marking Scheme

Candidates appearing for the APRCET 2024 exam will be marked on the basis of correct answers given during the test. There is negative marking as well for each question answered incorrectly. Take a look at the marking scheme of the APRCET entrance exam.
