JNU CUET UG 2022 exam is being conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA) starting from July 15 to August 20 in two shifts 9:00 am to 12:15 pm and 3:00 pm to 6: 45 PM. NTA is conducting the JNU CUET exam in computer-based test in about 500 cities across India and 10 cities abroad. The CUET (UG) – 2022 has been scheduled for approximately 14,90,000 (Fourteen Lakh and Ninety Thousand) candidates, with approximately 8,10,000 (Eight lakh and ten thousand) candidates in the first slot and approximately 6,80,000 (Six lakh eighty thousand) candidates in the second slot. JNU CUET UG exam for phase I will be held from July 15 to August 4 while phase II exam will be held from August 5 to August 20. JNU CUET UG exams dates are July 15, July 16, July 19, July 20, August 4, August 5, August 6, August 7, August 8, August 10 and August 20.

In slot I, the JNU CUET UG 2022 question paper consists of a total 175 Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs) (140 to be attempted). Meanwhile, slot II consists of 100 Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs) (80 to be attempted). Each question was of four marks. For each correct answer in the Central University Entrance Test (CUET), students will be awarded 4 marks while for each incorrect answer, 1 mark will be deducted. Anamika: ''I appeared for Home Science, History, Hindi and General Test. All the sections were easy. I didn't face any technical issue while attempting the exam. I would prefer to take admission in Delhi University (DU).''
Priyanshi: ''I appeared for Sociology subject which went quite well. English section was the easiest among all the subjects while Sociology was the most difficult part for me. Majority of the questions were asked from Political Science. I didn't face any technical issue during the exam.''
Mamta: ''I appeared for English, Sociology and General Knowledge paper. Among all the sections Sociology paper was difficult. Overall paper was easy except the sociology part. The questions in Sociology were quite lengthy. More number of questions were from General Knowledge section. I will be appearing for Political Science exam on August 5.''
Vinay: ''My CUET exam went well. The English paper was quite easy but the General Knowledge part was quite tough. Equal weitage was given to all sections but there were little more questions from Computer Science which were mainly from NCERT books. There were many spelling error in the CUET questions. If I qualify the exam, I will prefer Delhi University (DU) or Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU).''
Aarshi: ''I appeared for Economics, Business Studies, Legal Studies and General Test. The difficulty level in General Studies and Legal Studies was quite higher than other sections. English and Business Studies sections were good. The exam was conducted smoothly as there was no technical issue during the exam. I would like to take admission in Delhi University (DU) or Banaras Hindu University (BHU). The overall difficulty level of CUET was easy.''
JNU CUET UG 2022 Exam Analysis
Amid tight security and proper safety, CUET UG exams were conducted at different exam centres. However, students sharing some details about the Common University Entrance Test revealed that the difficulty level of the exam was moderate to easy. Meanwhile, for some students, the exam was little tough. They found that the number of questions were quite more in some sections. Students found English section quite easy as compared to other sections. Some students found it difficult to manage time during the exam as the time was less according to them. However, some students also found technical issue while attempting the exam. Some complained about server issue while some faced technical error in their computer.
CUET Exam Timings
Candidates appearing for the exams were asked to report to the allotted exam centre half an hour before the entrance exam scheduled timing. Candidates were asked to be present at 8:20 AM for the first slot of the exam from 9:00 AM to 12:15 PM. Gate closing time of the exam centre was 8:30 AM. Before entering the exam centre, candidates were asked to show their CUET admit card along with their government ID.
