Where can I find previous years Ashoka Aptitude Test question papers?

Ashoka University does not release question papers for the test. However, they do provide sample papers, links to which are provided on this page above.

What is the difficulty level of Ashoka Aptitude Test?

Since the aptitude test is conducted for admissions in undergraduate programmes, the difficulty level is quite moderate. Questions from the quantitative aptitude section are moderately difficult but pretty easy for students who have opted for mathematics in classes 11 and 12. The English section is a bit tougher and tricky, however, not extremely difficult.

What is the weightage of mathematics in Ashoka Aptitude Test?

Out of the 75 questions asked, 20 are from the quantitative aptitude section. There will be no negative marking for incorrect answers. Broadly, the questions will be based on topics like percentages, simple and compound interest, averages, ratios and proportions, mid-point gradients, geometry (triangles, circles, constructions), trigonometry, area and perimeter, etc.

AAT 2025 Syllabus

Ashoka University provides the Ashoka Aptitude Test syllabus for the four sections mentioned above. The syllabus for the logical reasoning section includes several questions on topics like family relations, seating arrangements, sequencing and more. The verbal aptitude section includes passages and questions based on errors in sentences, synonyms, antonyms, phrases, etc. The quantitative aptitude section has maths up to the level of 10th grade and the data interpretation section includes questions based on bar graphs, charts, etc.
