Interested candidates have to register online with required information. Non-refundable online registration fee is a mandate without which candidate’s application would not be considered for further processing. Candidate has to select preferred course at the time of registration, there is no limit on the maximum number of courses in which the candidate can apply and there is no additional fee for applying in multiple courses. Through the windows of Kirori Mal College: The faculty, infrastructure, facilities and crowd.

Placements: Final year students who secure more than 8.5 CGPA are qualified for the placements. Companies like Zomato, Accenture, and Scholastic India recruit the final year students as content writers and research developers. Talking about the opportunities, various organizations hire English Hons. students for the roles of content intern, social media manager, or as a research developer. Our seniors work as content writers and publish articles in various local newspapers of the Delhi University.

Infrastructure: Talking about the infrastructure of our English Department, it is fully ventilated having spacious rooms relatively to other departments. The college provides Wi-Fi facility throughout the premises. The classrooms have good arrangement of desks and benches with a projector. The hostel is one of the best hostel all over the University as it provides all the basic amenities and at a low expenditure, they provide the best meals. The facilities include common rooms, laundry service, lawn and so on. The hostel provides medical facilities having a separate room where all the types of medicine kits are available. The college provides a huge sports complex ground where all the types of games and sports are played.

Faculty: The teaching faculty holds degrees of M.Phil and Ph.D. and they indeed make us think rationally and emphasize to use critical analysis in our daily life. The professors have vast knowledge in their specific fields and they bestow us with all the background and current information about the specific topics. Critical thinking helps us live life in a professional setting. The semester exams are above average and the difficulty level is quite good. The passing criteria is securing grade above F, otherwise you will be failed.

Other: The English faculty is one of the prestigious and the earliest departments in the college known for its teaching and knowledge legacy. One of the main reason to choose this specific course is that through literature one can see the true nature of a society as literature serve as a reflection of society and includes all the fields of knowledge. To be honest, I don't want to change the curriculum of this course. The college provides various scholarships like NSP, fee concessions for needy students, welfare project schemes for differently abled persons and students having a single parent. Various societies host their annual fest, webinars, workshops and events throughout the year. The college has its own annual cultural fest known as Renaissance. The colleges near to this college are Ramjas college, Hansraj College and Hindu College. The diversity is too goof as the crowd comes in from all over the country.

It is one of the best campuses of DU.

Placements: Our class has 120 students. Almost 100% of students passed out this course. Companies did not visit our college because of covid. The highest salary package offered is 8 LPA. The lowest salary package offered is 5 LPA. Many regional companies visit our college to recruit students.

Infrastructure: Our college provides us with all facilities. The hostel facilities are good. Wi-Fi facility is available in the hostel. The hostel rooms have coolers. They provide coolers to toppers. The hostel fee is Rs. 35,000 for 6 months. Labs are well-established. The food served in the canteen is affordable. Our college has a gymnasium. A playground is available in our college. Our college has a well-established basketball ground.

Faculty: Our teachers are good and helpful. They provide PDFs and notes. The course curriculum is not much difficult. You can easily pass the exam by focusing at least one month before the exam. The curriculum is designed keeping in mind the need of today's world. They are cooperative. Exams are conducted strictly.

Other: Our college provides internal and external scholarships to students. The scholarship is given based on economic status and marks obtained by students in their previous classes. Many events and fests are held in our college.

Placements: At this college 20-25% of students were placed in this institute. Our college provides average placements opportunities. Average package of our institute was 2-4 LPA. Most of the students opted for the Masters degree. Top roles offered in our course sales, marketing etc.

Infrastructure: Facilities at the college were top-notch. Infrastructure of the college was well developed and maintained. College provides very good facilities to the students. Hostel facility was also available in our course. Sports and medical facilities were available in our college.

Faculty: Teachers of our college were helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable. The teaching quality at the college was impressive. College has highly experienced teachers. This course curriculum followed in our course was relevant. Semester exams were not that hard to pass.

Placements: This course won't offer you jobs in big MNCs but English Hons. Graduates always have a scope in the fields of content writing, creating drafts for various projects and spoken courses. I myself and few of my friends have done internships in the fields of content writing with various firms and foundations during our college days. English Hons. Is a very prestigious course so if you excel in the works assigned to you defini you will be prompted to higher post. One of my friends during his internship days got the opportunity to supervise all my the content of the firm he was working with that is basically a role of a supervisors.

Infrastructure: For infrastructure, I would rate 5 out 5 to KMC now. After the change of the principal recently the college has got a complete new look. Every department has its own department room (DR) which students use as their reading room. DR cam also be used for multiple purpose. It's mainly a spot where all the seniors and juniors catch up everyday. The classrooms are well ventilated and furnitures are in gooe conditions. The library of the college has been renovated recently and now it is one of the best libraries of North Campus which is filled with n number of books and fully equipped Wi-Fi. Talking about the canteen, it's spacious but the quality of food always depends on the people who have taken the tender. So it differs time to time. KMC provide hostel only for boys and has very limited seats but its facilities are very good. The hostel has its separate canteen and all the indoor and outdoor games are available for the hostelers. KMC's Ashoka lawn is the hanging point of all the students. So overall infrastructure of KMC is very decent and up to mark.

Faculty: Talking about the faculty members, I would say yes they are qualified much more than enough to teach undergraduates and are also helpful indeed if you approach them. KMC follow CBCS curriculum and exam patterns. Exams aren't a big headache to the students. The passing percentage is 40% but if the students have attended the classes they will do good in exams.

Other: Literature is the mirror of the society. I personally chose it because it fascinates me. Each individual can have his or her own personal choices. Crowd of KMC is very vibrant abd friendly. Every department and societies have their own fests and once in a year annual cultural fest is also organised by the college. The college gives you a lot of scope to explore your personality by giving to chance to join n number of societies. Talking about scholarships, yes college do refund your fees on the basis of your financial conditions and to avail scholarships you need to apply for the scholarships programmes launched by the University of Delhi.

I am very happy being a part of KMC.

Placements: A lot of students from my course pursue higher studies. But if I talk about commerce courses their placement is very good the avg package was 6lpa and the highest was 28 Lacs per year. The placement is very active here. And they bring a lot of good opportunity.

Infrastructure: The courses and hostel is good. The building has been renovated recently. The campus and hostel are well furnished. The canteen and mess food is hygienic and delicious. The cleanliness is maintained in the college. The labs are good a lot of books in library.

Faculty: Faculty is awesome they are well versed with their respective subjects. The faculty members are experienced and it's really fun studying from them. The NEP is implemented. So the curriculum is revised accordingly a lot of new Vacs and secs and aces are introduced.

Other: The societies are very active.

Hello Arya, well It is not possible to get admission with these percentage as the first cut-off goes around 96% on an average every year and till the second cut-off. The seats get full for this course so I will advise you to go for some other alternative options from the start. All the best!
