TISS BAT Pattern 2023: Check Type of Questions & Marking Scheme

The exam pattern for TISS BAT has not changed. Students are required to answer 40 Multiple Choice Questions (MCQ) in 45 minutes. Students who have successfully applied online will be notified about TISS BAT in online mode. The new exam pattern for online mode is as follows:

TISS BAT 2023 exam pattern for BA admissions is such that the question paper is divided into two parts – Part A and B. Part A contains objective questions from subjects such as Current Affairs, Social Awareness, and Logical and Analytical Reasoning. Part B contains subjective questions in English wherein candidates need to write two short questions in a duration of 30 minutes.

It may be noted that the exam is conducted in the online mode as a computer-based test.

Candidates need to complete both parts of the paper in 1.5 hours duration. The maximum number of marks that candidates can secure in the exam is 100 marks. For further clarification candidates can refer to the table below:

It may be noted that it is mandatory for candidates to attempt and clear both parts of the paper. Also, “both Part A and Part B will have separate cut-off marks for evaluation,” informs the official website.

Marking scheme: In Part B each question is awarded 20 marks. The official website does not state if there is any negative marking in the exam.

A. No. For the 2022-21 academic session, the entrance exam was conducted in online mode due to the impact of COVID-19. In order to maintain social distancing and security, the entrance exam was conducted in online mode. From this year onwards, the exam will be conducted in offline mode.

A. No. The TISS BAT exam medium is in English.

A. No. There is no negative marking in TISS BAT.
