CLAT 2020 Question Paper with Solutions

CLAT 2021 is scheduled to be conducted by the Consortium of NLUs on July 23. One of the most significant aspects of CLAT 2021 preparation is solving previous year question papers. Solving CLAT previous year question papers, particularly that of 2020 becomes even more important considering the fact that the CLAT Consortium had introduced some major changes in the exam pattern last year.

CLAT UG exam pattern

As per the new exam pattern released by the CLAT Consortium, the CLAT 2021 question paper for undergraduate (UG) course admissions will contain passage-based multiple-choice questions (MCQs). This means that every section of CLAT question paper will contain a short/long reading passage followed by a series of questions. Candidates have to read the given passage and then select the correct answer from the answer options given in the subsequent questions.

  • The CLAT question paper for both UG and PG courses will majorly test the comprehension skills of candidates
  • Each section of the question paper will comprise reading passages or short sets of facts, propositions, graphs, etc. followed by a series of questions
  • Any prior knowledge of Law will not be necessary to crack the CLAT UG exam
  • The difficulty level of the CLAT UG question paper will be of Class 12 level
  • Only candidates who secure at least 40 per cent in objective section of CLAT PG exam will qualify for evaluation for their answers in descriptive section

Yes, it is possible to get a JLU Bhopal LLB seat via CLAT scores. As per the university's admission policy, students who have taken CLAT and have secured 50 marks or above can get direct admission to one of the seats. Such candidates are not required to appear in any interview process.
