The Consortium of NLUs has released the CLAT Seat Allotment List along with the CLAT Result 2025. The CLAT 2025 Result was declared on December 7, 2024. The CLAT 2025 Counselling Registration has begun. Candidates will be able to register for CLAT 2025 until December 20, 2024. The selection for the CLAT seat allotment 2025 will depend on candidates' merit ranks in the Common Law Admission Test and their chosen admission preferences. In total, CLAT 2024 offers 4,616 seats, with 3,243 seats allocated for the 5-year LLB program and 1,373 seats reserved for the 3-year LLB program.

All candidates had to report at the allotted CLAT exam centre at least 1 hour before the commencement of the exam I. e. 1:00 PM. It may be noted that no candidate were allowed to enter the exam hall 15 minutes after the commencement of the exam. Therefore, candidates were asked to reach the exam centre of CLAT on the exam day at least an hour before the exam timings for checking of documents and seating formalities. For this, candidates were asked to estimate the time required to reach the allotted test centre beforehand. CLAT Admission Process 2025 post seat allotment
After the release of the CLAT 2025 seat allotment list, candidates are presented with three choices. They can choose to either accept the allocated seats, request an upgrade, or withdraw from the seat allotment process. CLAT Notifications
In 2022, CLAT exam was held twice, I. e. on June 19 as CLAT 2022, and on December 18, 2022 as CLAT 2023. However, from 2024 onwards, CLAT exam is to be conducted once in a year only, as confirmed by the exam officials in the latest notification. Earlier, CLAT exam was conducted in May or June, but from 2024 onwards the entrance exam will be conducted in December (of preceding year to the admission year) itself for concluding admissions on time. Therefore, CLAT counselling process will be completed by May of each academic year.
