The Andhra Pradesh State Council of Higher Education (APSCHE) conducts the AP PGLCET to shortlist candidates for admission to LLM courses offered by colleges and universities in Andhra Pradesh. The exam authority allocates seats for admission based on candidates' AP PGLCET scores, through the seat allotment phase of the counselling process.
The AP PGLCET 2024 counselling for Phase 1 is being conducted online on the official AP PGLCET counseling portal – lawcet-sche.aptonline.in, from October 16 to November 7, 2024. Thereafter, Phase 2 of the counseling will begin.

AP PGLCET 2024 Admission Process
After appearing in the AP PGLCET exam, candidates need to follow the steps mentioned below to get admission to a college accepting AP PGLCET 2024 scores:
1. Meet the minimum qualifying marks criteria
AP PGLCET candidates can get admission to a college through the counselling process. To participate in the counselling, candidates first need to obtain the minimum qualifying in the entrance exam. The qualifying marks for the exam are mentioned below:

2. Register for counselling
As mentioned above, candidates belonging to General and OBC categories can register for AP PGLCET counselling if they meet the qualifying marks criteria. There are no minimum qualifying marks for candidates from SC, ST and Person with Disability categories.

3. Upload documents
The process of uploading documents for the AP PGLCET counselling takes place simulatneously with the counselling registration. The following documents are required for the counselling:
- AP PGLCET Rank Card
- AP PGLCET Hall Ticket
- AP PGLCET Application Form
- SSC/Intermediate/Equivalent marksheet
- Qualifying Examination marksheet (3-year/5-year LLB marksheet)
- Provisional/Degree Certificate
- Study/Residence Certificate for proving the previous 7 years’ study as local Andhra Pradesh Certificate or Non-Local Certificate
- SC/ST/Caste certificate
- Migration Certificate
- Transfer Certificate
- Income Certificate or Ration Card
- Sports/PH/NCC/CAP Certificates (if any)
4. Web options exercise
After registering for counseling, candidates are required to complete an online "web exercise," which involves selecting their preferred colleges. To perform the exercise, candidates need to visit - lawcet-sche.aptonline.in. APSCHE provides a limited window for candidates to edit their college choices.
5. Check seat allotment list
After the web exercise, APSCHE releases the AP PGLCET seat allotment list, which contains the names of candidates shortlisted for admission. To be shortlisted for admission in a particular year, candidates must meet the AP PGLCET cutoff for their chosen college in that year.
6. Report to the allotted college
In the final stage of the admission process, candidates must visit the allotted college and pay the admission fee to secure their admission. The time frame for reporting to the college is limited and determined by APSCHE.
