Things to Check Before the SLAT Exam Day

Before appearing for the SLAT exam, candidates should check for the following things at least 2-3 days before the exam: 

  • Download the admit card of SLAT 2025 and get colour printouts for the exam day. The admit card in black and white printout won't be accepted. 
  • In case there is an error on the admit card, report it to the exam authority to get it rectified or get an acknowledgement slip regarding the discrepancy.

Candidates should have the admit card for SLAT 2025 as a hardcopy on the exam day. Along with the admit card, candidates should also keep any of the following documents:

Q:   Can I join Symbiosis Law School, Pune directly?

A:

To join Symbiosis Law School, Pune (SLS, Pune), you'll need to follow a specific process. You must take the SLAT (Symbiosis Law Admission Test), which is a required test for admission to SLS, Pune. Additionally, you must complete the online registration for SLAT. So, you can't join directly; you need to go through the SLAT test and registration process to get admission to SLS, Pune.

Q:   Does Symbiosis International Pune require CUET?

A:

Symbiosis International Pune doesn't required CUET for admission. The deemd to be  uiversity conducts its own entrance exams  for admission to its UG and PG programme. However, its also accepts national level entrance exams such as JEE Main, MH CET, NEET, SLAT, etc. Additionally, candidates must aslo qualify the eligbility criteria, which are as follows:

Q:   When will SLAT 2025 exam be conducted?

A:

The SLAT 2025 was conducted on December 13 and 15, 2024. Pleases note that the SLAT 2025 exam dates were different for SLAT Test 1 and SLAT Test 2.

SLAT 2025 was conducted on two days as SLAT Test 1 (test day 1) and SLAT Test 2 (test day 2) in a computer-based test mode at physical SLAT exam centres. A computer-based test (CBT) mode is a method of administering exams using computers. CBTs are becoming increasingly popular, as they offer a number of advantages over traditional paper-and-pencil exams, including:

Instructions for Taking the Exam 

While taking the examination, candidates should maintain decorum as instructed by the exam invigilator. They should not talk or gesture to anyone. They should not look back and here and there. To take the SLAT exam, you need to follow the instructions mentioned below: 

1. Login on Time: Arrive at the test center early to complete check-in procedures and log in at the specified time to avoid any delays.

2. Read Instructions Carefully: Before starting the exam, carefully read all on-screen instructions. Ensure you understand the guidelines for answering questions and navigating between sections.

Q:   Does SLS Pune offers any seat reservation?

A:

There are certain seats reserved for SC, ST and other reserved categories. Below-mentioned is the reservation policy for UG, PG, and PhD courses:

Q:   Is SLS Hyderabad admission 2025 merit-based?

A:

No, candidates seeking admission to SLS Hyderabad, must appear for entrance examination. Final selection is based on the combined merit list of entrance exam SLAT/AIAT and the Personal Interview round. Also, before applying, all the candidates must fulfil the eligibility criteria for the desired course. For LLM admission, candidates must have minimum 50% aggregate in five year LLB degree. while UG intergrated programme requires to have passed Class 12 with a minimum of 45% aggregate.

3. Use of Permitted Items Only: Only items such as a pen, pencil, and paper for rough work (if allowed) should be used during the exam. The use of calculators, mobile phones, or any electronic gadgets is strictly prohibited.

4. Answering Questions: 

  • You can navigate freely between questions within a section.
  • Be mindful of the time and try to answer all questions.
  • If unsure of an answer, you can mark the question for review and return to it later if time permits.

5. Time Management: Keep an eye on the timer displayed on the screen. Manage your time effectively to ensure you attempt all sections within the allotted time.

6. Technical Issues: In case of any technical issues, immediately inform the invigilator without attempting to fix the problem yourself.

7. Avoid Malpractice: Do not engage in any form of cheating or malpractice. Violating exam rules can result in disqualification.

8. Submission: Once you have completed the exam, review your answers if time allows. Ensure to submit your responses before the exam time ends.

9. Stay Calm: Stay calm and focused throughout the exam. If you feel stressed, take a few deep breaths and continue.

10. Post-Exam Protocol: After submitting your exam, follow the instructions provided by the invigilator before leaving the test center.

Ending the Exam

After completing the exam, candidates have to exit the exam halll peacefully. Make sure to take all your important documents, such as Aadhaar Card/Passport/Voter ID and admit card and your important belongings. 

Items to Carry to the SLAT Exam Centre

Candidates should carry the following items to the SLAT exam hall: 

  • SLAT admit card
  • Photo ID proof (Aadhar Card/Voter ID/Passport)
  • 2 blue ball point pen
  • 2 black ball point pen 
  • Water in a transparent bottle
