OJEE registrations 2025 has started on January 30, 2025. The application window will be open for two months approximately. The last date to fill the OJEE application form 2025 is March 20, 2025. OJEE 2025 will be conducted in the from May 2, 2025, to May 6, 2025, and May 10, 2025, to May 11, 2025, in the computer-based test mode.

OJEE or Odisha Joint Entrance Exam is a state-level entrance exam conducted for admission to various graduate and post-graduate courses by the National Testing Agency, NTA. The admissions are provided to various government and private management institutes in the state of Odisha. OJEE exam is held every year in Computer-based mode (CBT). OJEE Cell will soon release the official OJEE notification. 

Q:   What is the exam pattern for OJEE?

A:
The OJEE exam is a computer-based test for all courses. However, the OJEE exam pattern differs according to the course you are applying for. The generic OJEE exam pattern is as follows: 1. The exam will only be conducted in the computer-based test mode. Earlier, the exam was also conducted in the paper-based test mode but from 2019 onwards, the PBT mode has been scrapped. 2. The duration of the exam for the MBA, LE B.Tech, LE B.Sc/ LE, MCA/LE MCA M.Tech and MArch courses is 120 minutes (2 hours). The duration for the B.Pharma course is three hours and for MPHARM Integrated MBA and LE B.Pharma courses, the exam duration is one hour or 60 minutes. 3. There will only be multiple-choice questions in the OJEE question paper 4. Four marks will be awarded for the correct answer and one mark will be deducted for each incorrect answer. No marks will be awarded or deducted for questions which have not been attempted. Here is a detailed OJEE MBA exam pattern: 1. The total marks for the exam are 480. 2. Total number of questions is 120. 3. There are four sections, I. e. Quantitative Techniques, Verbal reasoning and Comprehension, Analytical and Logical Reasoning, General Awareness and Business Fundamentals 4. Each section carries 30 questions.

Q:   What is the marking scheme for OJEE (MBA)?

A:
For the Master of Business Administration, a total of 120 questions will be asked from five sections and the total duration of the exam will be 2 hours. The Odisha Joint Entrance Exam will be conducted in Online mode. Syllabus for the Odisha Joint Entrance Exam (MBA): Quantitative Techniques, Analytical and Logical Reasoning, Verbal Reasoning and Comprehension, General Awareness and Business Fundamentals, and other course-specific topics Pattern: Multiple Choice Questions Marking Scheme: You will earn 4 marks for correct answers and 1 mark will be deducted for every incorrect answer. Q:   Is there a sectional time limit in OJEE?

A:
No, OJEE exam does not have any sectional timing for any course. However, students will be required to complete the exam in pre informed exam duration and no extra time will be granted to the students under any circumstances. OJEE is a computer-based online exam the test screen will move from first section to the next section only when the candidate clicks the next button. Candidates have to be mindful of the on-screen timer and pre-decide the number of questions to solve in each section as there will be negative markings. It is not mandatory to solve all the questions in OJEE exam so candidates can devise a strategy to use the exam duration as per their strength and weakness. Candidates must reach the exam centre at least an hour prior to complete the frisking formalities at the OJEE exam centre.

OJEE is conducted for admission to courses such as MBA/PGDMMCAM.TechB.TechB.Pharm, Lateral Entry B.Tech, and Lateral Entry MCA courses. The registrations for Special OJEE will likely begin in the first week of June 2025. OJEE 2025 Eligibility Criteria

The OJEE eligibility criteria vary for different undergraduate and postgraduate courses. Listed below are the minimum eligibility criteria for OJEE exam 2025:

  • Candidate must have completed Class 12 from a recognised board for admission to undergraduate courses
  • Candidate must have a bachelor’s degree or equivalent from a recognised university in a relevant discipline
  • Candidate must have completed a diploma or bachelor’s degree from a relevant stream to apply for lateral entry courses

OJEE Application Form 2025

OJEE registrations 2025 started on January 30, 2025, and as mentioned above. The OJEE application form 2025 is available online only. There will be different application forms for the OJEE exam and the Special OJEE exam. The Special OJEE exam is for admission to vacant seats of BTech, Lateral Entry BTech, BPharm, MBA, MCA and Lateral Entry MCA courses. Special OJEE registration window will likely open in the month of June 2025. Candidates should carefully fill the OJEE application form as incomplete application forms will be rejected. Explained below are the steps of how to fill out the OJEE application form 2025.

OJEE Cell also provides dates for the correction window where the applicants can edit or correct their application forms. Students can change their photographs, signatures and also fee payment.

Q:   What are the important topics of the Quantitative Techniques section of the OJEE exam?

A:

Quantitative Techniques section of the OJEE question paper is one of the toughest sections. The important topics of this section include Arithmetic, Geometry, Average, Percentage, Number Systems, Profit and Loss, Ratio and Proportion, Time, Speed and Distance, Mensuration, Quadaratic Equations, Trigonometry, Probability, etc. The Quantitative Techniques section of the OJEE question paper carries 30 multiple-choice questions which are to be solved in 30 minutes. Candidates will be provided with the rough paper for calculations and they will be required to choose the correct option against the question. This section of the OJEE question paper is usually difficult in nature.

How to Apply for OJEE 2025?

OJEE registration cum application form is available online on the official website, i.e. ojee.nic.in from the scheduled date. Below are the steps that candidates need to follow to fill OJEE  application form.

  1. Visit the official website of OJEE and click on the 'Registration for OJEE 2025' tab or copy the following in your web browser: https://admissions.nic.in/OJEE/Applicant/Report/Instructions.aspx
  2. Click on the 'Fresh Candidate Login' button
  3. Fill in the relevant details carefully and submit the application form
  4. The candidate will receive a registration number and will have to create a password after that . The registration number and the password are to be kept safely as they will be important for future logins
  5. The next step includes uploading all the relevant documents, like a photograph (5KB to 99KB file size and 3.5cm x 4.5cm dimensions), full signature (5KB to 50KB file size and 3.5cm x 1.5cm dimensions) and left-hand thumb impression (5KB to 50KB file size and 3.5cm x 1.5cm dimensions). The documents have to be in the JPEG/JPG format
  6. After filling out the application form carefully the candidates have to pay the application fee using debit/credit card or through e-challan by a deposit in OJEE Bank Account with State Bank of India (State Bank Collect)

Special OJEE 2025 Application Process

To apply for Special OJEE 2025 candidates need to register on the official website of OJEE and register with relevant information. After the submission of the information, the candidates will be given an application ID which will be required to log in to fill out the application form. After filling out the application form the candidate will be redirected to the payment gateway. The application fee for Special OJEE is INR 1000 which can be paid through debit/credit card and net banking. 

OJEE Preparation Tips 2025

Ideally, the students should start preparing for OJEE at least six months prior to the exam. They must focus on scoring well in each section to ace the exam. They must practice ample number of OJEE mock tests and sample papers. Although the OJEE exam syllabus is very similar to other MBA entrance exams, students should solve OJEE specific sample papers. It is important to be well acquainted with the OJEE exam pattern, syllabus and have a strategic study plan for OJEE.

Students should focus on analyzing their strengths and weaknesses by solving mock tests. Examine the progress through mock tests monthly and keep analyzing and improving the mock scores over time until test day. Finally, students should not forget revision. They must devote enough time to revise and to brush up on what they have already studied. This will help the students refresh their memory which will help them on exam day.

OJEE 2025: Syllabus Overview

The OJEE exam syllabus is prescribed by the Odisha Joint Entrance Exam Committee. If the candidates wish to score well in the OJEE 2025 exam then they should practice the topics mentioned in the OJEE syllabus thoroughly.

OJEE Admit Card 2025

OJEE admit cards are released online. The OJEE hall ticket is issued only to those candidates who have successfully registered for the exam and paid the application fee.

How to Download the OJEE Admit Card?

Candidates can follow the steps mentioned below to know how to download the OJEE hall ticket:

  • Visit the official website of OJEE
  • Click on the link ‘ADMIT CARD OJEE 2024’ on the homepage
  • Then, the candidate needs to enter the application number and date of birth and log in. The date of birth can be used in DDMMYYYY format
  • Click on the 'Download admit card' button and the same will appear on the screen
  • Take a printout of the admit card 

OJEE admit card is a mandatory document to be carried to the OJEE exam centre. Aspirants must also carry a photo ID proof issued by the Government of India. They must make sure that they carry two copies of the OJEE admit card along with one recent passport-size photograph and original photo ID proof.

OJEE Test Centres

OJEE exam is conducted online in over 35 cities in India. Students can choose upto three OJEE exam cities while filling the OJEE exam application form. They must ensure that they choose the exam centre in order of their preference.

OJEE Cutoff 2025 and Selection Process

OJEE selection process includes the OJEE exam, Group Discussion and Personal Interview. After the OJEE results are announced, OJEE Cell will release OJEE cutoff and rank list.

OJEE cutoff 2025 will mention the opening and closing ranks. The participating OJEE colleges will have the same cutoff as released by the OJEE Cell. Students who participate in OJEE counselling will be allotted seats based on their rank and choices filled for admission during the application process. The ranks in OJEE is based on the cutoff released by the OJEE Cell.

To be eligible to participate in the OJEE counselling process, candidates must be at least 17 years of age and have a nativity certificate. Candidates must have also passed English subjects along with course-specific subjects individually.

The candidates should provide the seat allotment letter, OJEE admit card 2025, OJEE rank card 2025, previous academic certificates and marksheets, registration slip, etc. during the OJEE admission process.

OJEE Counselling 2025

Candidates can sit for OJEE counselling for the final seat allotment. The counselling takes place online and offline as well. After registering for the OJEE counselling students will have to register online and then lock their choice. The counselling cell releases a seat allotment list for colleges available based on the choice filled by the candidates and merit list.

For confirming their seat, the applicants will have to present the original documents needed for the verification process. The candidates will have to submit a copy of the documents at the counselling centre. Applicants also will have to submit a part fee payment of INR 1000 for the General category and INR 500 for the SC/ST/PC categories. Finally, the students will have to report to the college with a seat allotment letter and submit the remaining fee.
