KMAT Kerala questions and sample papers give candidates an understanding of the KMAT Kerala exam pattern. It enables the candidates in knowing the type of questions, topics and difficulty level. Q:   How many sections are there in KMAT Kerala exam?

A: 

There are four sections in the KMAT Kerala exam according to the KMAT Kerala exam pattern:

  • Quantitative Aptitude
  • Data sufficiency and Logical Reasoning
  • English Language
  • General Knowledge and Current Affairs

All the sections in the KMAT Kerala exam have multiple choice questions and the duration of the exam is 180 minutes or three hours. Each question in every section will have four choices and the candidates have to select one correct answer according to them.

Q:   What is a good score in KMAT Kerala?

A: 
A good score for the KMAT Kerala exam is 10% of the total marks for General and SEBC candidates, and 7.5% for SC, ST, and PwD candidates. This means that General candidates need to score at least 72 marks out of 720, and SC, ST, and PwD candidates need to score at least 54 marks out of 720.
The KMAT Kerala exam is conducted twice a year, and scores are only valid for that admission cycle. Each correct answer is worth four marks, and there one mark is deducted for incorrect answers.
The raw score of students is scaled with reference to the total number of students appearing in the exam. Based on the KMAT Kerala score of aspirants they will be offered admission to the management institutions compared to others who have appeared in the test.

Q:   What is the eligibility criteria of KMAT Kerala exam?

A: 

The eligibility criteria for KMAT (Kerala Management Admission Test) are as follows:

  1. The candidates should be Indian citizens.

  2. The candidates must hold a bachelor's degree or its equivalent in any discipline recognised by the Association of Indian Universities (AIU). The minimum duration of the degree programme should be three years.

  3. The general category candidates should have secured at least 50% aggregate in the qualifying examination. For SEBC (Socially and Educationally Backward Classes) and SC/ST (Scheduled Caste/Scheduled Tribe) category candidates, the minimum required aggregate is 40%.

  4. Candidates who are appearing for the final year of their bachelor's degree examination are also eligible to apply. However, they must provide proof of qualifying the examination with the required percentage of marks at the time of admission.

Yes, the KMAT Kerala exam has negative marking. There are four sections in the KMAT Kerala exam, and each section carries about 40-50 multiple-chocie questions (MCQs). Candidates will be awarded four marks for each correct answer. One mark will be deducted from the total score for each incorrect answer marked by the candidate. There are a total of 180 questions in the KMAT Kerala question paper and the total marks is 720.
