The most important thing to do on exam day is to stay calm and focused throughout. In this article, Shiksha brings a list of dos and don’ts for OJEE 2024 exam day.

OJEE Exam Day Checklist

Check out some of the key OJEE exam day guidelines, that the students must not miss out on:

  • OJEE admit card 2024: Candidates must not forget to carry the OJEE admit card to the exam centre. Candidates will not be allowed to enter the exam centre without an admit card. OJEE admit card can be downloaded from the official website using login credentials. Candidates must note that a digital copy or soft copy of the admit card will not be accepted and they must carry a printout of the OJEE admit card.  Also, they should not sign the admit card beforehand. It should be signed in front of the invigilator, only.
  • Other documents to be carried: Along with the OJEE admit card, candidates need to carry a valid photo identity proof such as Aadhar Card, Voter ID, Ration Card, Driving License, PAN Card and Passport. Candidates should also carry a recent coloured passport size photograph. Candidates belonging to the PwD category must carry a PwD certificate along with the other documents. Candidates also have to carry a Self-Declaration Form in legible handwriting which is to be signed by the parent of the candidate. The form should also have a recent passport-size photograph of the candidate (same as the OJEE application form 2024) and the left-thumb impression in the space provided.
  • Stationary: Candidates are allowed to carry only a black or blue ballpoint pen to the OJEE exam centre. Paper, study material, log tables or any such item is prohibited inside the exam hall. They will be given five blank sheets for the rough work which must be submitted back at the exam centre.
  • Personal Belongings: Candidates must not carry any electronic gadgets to the exam centre such as a calculator, digital watch, mobile phones, laptops, earphones, Bluetooth devices, etc. Candidates must also not carry food items to the exam hall. Candidates must carry a transparent water bottle and hand sanitizer to the exam centre. They must also know that they will not be allowed to enter the exam centre without a mask. Candidates have to wear a 3-ply cotton mask at all times in the OJEE exam centre.
  • Reporting to the exam centre: Candidates must make sure that they reach the OJEE exam centre at least one hour before the commencement of the exam. Candidates will not be allowed to enter the exam centre once the entry gates close. Candidates are required to reach early to complete all the frisking formalities at the entry gate. The candidates will be checked for temperature before allowing entrance to the centre.
  • OJEE question paper: Candidates must read the instructions given on the OJEE question paper 2024 properly and carefully. While attempting the OJEE question paper, candidates must remain calm and confident to be able to fetch a good score. They must not panic and attempt the exam with a calm mind.
  • Time Yourself Well: Do not spend too much time on one question, if you can’t solve it within a minute, leave it and move on to the next question. Each second is precious; do not waste on questions you cannot solve with 100 percent accuracy and risk deduction of marks for wrong answers. Solve easy questions first and leave tough ones for later. Ensure you keep five minutes aside to revise your answers.
