Master of Computer Applications (MCA) is a two-year postgraduate program pursued by candidates who have completed their graduation through a recognized university. Students who wish to enrol in an MCA program can secure admission through entrance exams such as NIMCET, BIT MCA Entrance exam, MAKAUT CET, TANCET, etc.
However, some State-level colleges also provide direct admission to MCA courses where the students have to clear the university’s merit-based examinations to enrol themselves into these colleges. Steps to Get Entrance Exam-based Admission in MCA Course
For MCA Admission through entrance exams, candidates have to follow a certain process that might differ for each entrance exam.
A generic entrance exam procedure for admission is given below that is followed by most institutes during the selection process:
